The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Matthew Taylor Coburn, 36, of 377 Water Farm Road, Sheffield, Mass., was charged May 15 with driving under the influence, use of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance.

The report was not included in the arrest log submitted by police.

Reyna Burns, 20, of 654 High St., Naugatuck, was charged May 15 with risk of injury to child, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on May 15 Burns was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Burns was given a court date of May 16 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

Victor Igbuya, 54, of 10 Silver Beech Drive, Naugatuck, was charged May 15 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on May 15 at approximately 12:03 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Igbuya threw items at the victim and flipped over a bed. Igbuya also pushed the victim, police reported. Igbuya was given a court date of May 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Rebecca Elizabeth Contreras, 26, of 909 Old Town Road, Coram, N.Y., was charged May 16 with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault.,

Police reported on May 16 at approximately 3:20 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Contreras grabbed the victim causing scratches to his chest. Contreras was given a court date of May 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Brent L. Weller, 24, of 42 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged May 16 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on May 16 at approximately 3:20 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Weller threw the victim’s property around the home. Police reported Weller also dragged the victim by her arm. Weller was given a court date of May 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Michael Romero, 63, of 686 Woodend Road, Stratford, was charged May 16 with driving under the influence, disorderly conduct and second-degree burglary.

Police reported on May 16 at approximately 4:10 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Police reported Romero entered the victim’s home without permission. Romero left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival. Police reported Romero was located in area and it was determined he was operating under the influence of alcohol. Romero was given a court date of May 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Paige I. Stanley, 27, of 1637 Quinnipiac Ave., New Haven, was charged May 16 with first-degree failure to appear and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 16 at approximately 6:47 a.m. Stanley was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Stanley was given a court date of May 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $75,000 surety bond.

Zaira Diaz-Rosario, 39, of 380 West Main St. Apt. 300, Waterbury, was charged May 17 with first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 11:29 p.m. officers responded to a trespassing complaint. Police reported Diaz-Rosario arrived at the victim’s residence and refused to leave. Diaz-Rosario was given a court date of May 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Jacqueline Speller, 26, of 551 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged May 17 with second-degree breach of peace.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 5:56 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Police reported Speller engaged the victim in an argument in the driveway of a multi-family home. During the argument, police reported, Speller pushed the victim. Speller was given a court date of May 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Shaun Nield, 39, of 216 May St., Naugatuck, was charged May 17 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 9:16 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, police reported, Nield punched and slapped the victim. Nield was given a court date of May 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Johnnie Knighton, 24, of 106 Oakland Terrace, Hartford, was charged May 18 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on May 18 at approximately 12:31 a.m. Knighton was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Knighton was given a court date of May 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $92 cash bond.

Alicia M. Augeri, 26, of 21 Round Hill Road, Middletown, was charged May 19 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on May 19 at approximately 8:36 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Cherry Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Augeri was operating under the influence of alcohol. Augeri was given a court date of May 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Michael Allen Johnson, 25, of 40 Lorann Drive, Naugatuck, was charged May 20 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on May 18 officers responded to 40 Lorann Drive for a domestic disturbance. During the incident, police reported, both subjects stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical when Johnson subject struck the victim. Johnson was scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on May 21 and held on bond.
