The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Paula Drew, 77, of 70 Topaz Place, Stratford, was charged May 1 with second-degree harassment.

Police reported on May 1 Drew was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a domestic incident that was reported to Naugatuck police on Feb. 22, 2018 in which Drew harassed the victim, police reported. Drew was given a court date of May 2 to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

Lisa Leopardi, 39, of 23 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 2 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on May 2 at approximately 10:41 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Leopardi stole $184 worth of merchandise. She was given a court date of May 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Brian K. Lavertue, 33, of 46 Sharon Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 2 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear, criminal impersonation and interfering with an officer.

The report was not completed. Lavertue was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Amy M. Yarrington, 36, of 46 Sharon Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 2 with second-degree failure to appear.

Jayme Paradise, 33, of 216 Ellwood Road, Kensington, was charged May 2 with sale of hallucinogen/naracotic, possession of controlled substance and illegally obtaining prescription drug-fraud.

Courtney Melissa Demers, 27, of 933 Rubber Ave. Apt. 1C, Naugatuck, was charged May 5 with sixth-degree larceny and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 5 at approximately 6:21 p.m. an officer responded to a larceny complaint at Ocean State Job Lot. Police reported Demers stole $46.47 worth of merchandise. Demers was given a court date of May 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Darnell Brown, 22, of 63 Rough Wing Road, Naugatuck, was charged May 6 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 6 at approximately 1:25 a.m. Brown was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Brown was given a court date of May 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $1,000 surety bond.
