The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Robert Thorne, 23, of 168 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 9 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 9:58 a.m. Thorne was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of an active protective order. Police reported Thorne violated the order by cohabiting with the victim. Thorne was given a court date of April 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Virginia Montini, 38, of 11 Greench Way, Milford, was charged April 9 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 9:39 a.m. Montini was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Montini was given a court date of April 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Kevin Pianka, 52, of 37 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged April 9 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 6:28 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between brothers. During an argument, police reported, Pianka punched the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries. Pianka was given a court date of April 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Jose Figueroa, 41, of 537 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged April 9 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 9 at approximately 7:02 p.m. Figueroa was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Figueroa was given a court date of April 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Omar Montes, 41, of 429 Baldwin St., Waterbury, was charged April 10 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 10 at approximately 10:14 a.m. Montes turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Montes was given a court date of April 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

Roman Diaz, 54, of 70 Bouffard Ave., Waterbury, was charged April 12 with two counts of second-degree forgery.

Police reported on April 12 at approximately 8:36 p.m. Diaz was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on April 19, 2011. Police reported Diaz stole two checks from the victim and fraudulently cashed them for a total amount of $300. Diaz was given a court date of April 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $7,500 non-surety bond.

Chester Henry Way, 46, of 1889 North Main St., Waterbury, was charged April 12 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on April 12 at approximately 11:25 a.m. Way was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Way was given a court date of April 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court set $2,500 surety bond.

Steven Sickinger, 35, of 859 N Greenbrier Drive, Orange, was charged April 12 with driving under the influence, drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on April 12 at approximately 5:05 p.m. officers responded to New Haven Road for an erratic driver. An officer located the vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Sickinger was operating under the influence of a narcotic. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Sickinger was in possession of a syringe and heroin. Sickinger was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a surety bond.

Edwin Esteva III, 31, of 206 Suffolk St., Holyoke, was charged April 13 with breach of peace and second-degree harassment.

Police reported on April 13 at approximately 5:54 p.m. officers responded to a harassing phone call complaint. Police reported Esteva threatened to harm the victim. Esteva was given a court date of April 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Laura Russo, 49, of 34 Melbourne Court, Naugatuck, was charged April 14 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on April 14 at approximately 12:57 a.m. officers responded to a possible drunk driver complaint on Church Street. An officer located the vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Russo was operating under the influence of alcohol. Russo was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Jacqueline Daly, 55, of 66 Carriage Drive, Naugatuck, was charged April 14 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on April 14 at approximately 6:15 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Daly hit he victim causing a cut near his left eye. Daly was given a court date of April 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Victoria Cerullo, 28, of 11 Aetna Place, Naugatuck, was charged April 15 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 15 Cerullo was arrested stemming from a domestic incident in which Cerullo was found to be in violation of a standing protective order. Cerullo was released on bond and was scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on April 16.

Stephanie Armstrong, 35, of 48 Steinmann Ave., Middlebury, was charged April 15 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 15 at approximately 2:12 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Armstrong stole $147.46 worth of merchandise. Armstrong was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Scott Lodice, 37, of 597 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged April 15 with threatening and second-degree harassment.

Police reported on April 15 at approximately 6:55 p.m. Lodice was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint made on Feb. 26, 2018. Police reported Lodice threatened to harm the victim through a text message. Lodice was given a court date of April 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Tiffany Hobby, 36, of 19 Waverly St., New Haven, was charged April 16 with attempt to commit crime.

Police reported on April 16 at approximately 8:32 p.m. Hobby was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Jan. 31, 2018 at Walmart. Police reported Hobby attempted to leave the store with shopping cart full of diapers and formula. When a store employee confronted Hobby, police reported, she left the shopping cart and fled in a vehicle. The total amount of merchandise was $233.48. Hobby was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Alexandra Ciarleglio, 26, of 416 Wilson St., Waterbury, was charged April 16 with second-degree larceny.

Police reported on April 16 at approximately 7:12 p.m. Ciarleglio was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Dec. 7, 2016. Police reported Ciarleglio stole money from the victim, who was known to her. The total amount of money stolen was $600, police reported. Ciarleglio was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Megan Cusano, 19, of 185 Beacon Road, Bethany, was charged April 16 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on April 16 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Cusano turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on March 3, 2018. During an altercation, police reported, Cusano pushed and hit the victim. Cusano was given a court date of April 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Muhamed Nikocevic, 20, of 112 Proctor St., Waterbury, was charged April 16 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on April 16 at approximately 5:07 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Spring Street. Police reported Nikocevic was identified as the passenger in the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined there was an active protective order between the operator and Nikocevic. Nikocevic was given a court date of April 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.
