The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Joseph Boisvert, 53, of 14A Palmer St., Danielson, was charged Feb. 26 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 26 at approximately 10:57 p.m. Boisvert was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a DWI investigation on Dec. 6, 2017. Police reported officers responded to Cumberland Farms on North Main Street for an unresponsive male inside a vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Boisvert was operating under the influence of a narcotic. Boisvert was given a court date of March 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Melissa Ramos, 34, of 55 Round Tree Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 26 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 26 at approximately 11:24 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between family members. Police reported Ramos drove to the victim’s home and an altercation occurred in the roadway. Other family members separated Ramos from the victim, police reported. Ramos was given a court date of Feb. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Ladrekia Campbell, 24, of 49 Gayle Drive, Bristol, was charged Feb. 27 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 7:18 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Campbell stole merchandise from the store. Campbell was given a court date of March 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was released until her court date.

David Rivera, 28, of 43 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 27 with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, risk of injury to child and illegal sale of controlled substance.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 11:43 p.m. Rivera was arrested on the above listed charges. He was given a court date of March 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Devin Rager, 18, of 71 Coen St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 27 with breach of peace.

The arrest report was not available regarding this arrest.

William Sanders, 33, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with evading responsibility.

Thomas Baker, 24, of 73-83 Highland Ave., Yonkers, was charged Feb. 28 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Feb. 28 Baker was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order. Police reported Baker contacted the victim by phone, which was in violation of an active protective order. Baker was given a court date of March 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

Danielle Ruff, 43, of 154 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 28 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 28 at approximately 8:14 p.m. Ruff was arrested on the above listed charge. Ruff was given a court date of March 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

James Thompson, 54, of 83 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, was charged March 1 with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy at sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 1 Thompson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Jan. 24, 2018 from Walmart. Police reported Thompson stole a TV and HP printer valued at $409.16. Thompson was given a court date of March 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Daniel Sousa, 27, of 687 Beacon Valley Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 1 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on March 1 Sousa was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Feb. 20, 2018 between family members. During an argument, police reported, Sousa threw items around the home. Sousa was given a court date of March 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Alexander Gonzalez, 22, of 84 Citizens Ave., Waterbury, was charged March 1 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 1 Gonzalez was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Gonzalez was given a court date of March 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Lashea Coverson, 26, of 42 Bailey Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 1 with two counts second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 1 Coverson was arrested on active failure to appear arrest warrants. Coverson was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 1 and held on bond.

Amy Yarrington, 36, of 65 Nancy Lane, Naugatuck, was charged March 1 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on March 1 Yarrington was arrested on an active failure to appear arrest warrant. Yarrington was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 1 and held on bond.

William Nobitz, 59, of 44 Osborn Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 1 with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call, third-degree assault and threatening.

Police reported on March 1 officers responded to 44 Osborn Road for a domestic disturbance between male and female family members. During the incident, police reported, both subjects stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical when Nobitz pushed and slapped the female victim. Nobitz was arrested and processed on the listed charges. Nobitz was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 1 and held on bond.

Brittany Ryba, 25, of 632 Main St., Torrington, was charged March 1 with sixth-degree larceny.

Nicholas Verity, 30, of 638 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 3 with second-degree identity theft, conspiracy at credit card theft, criminal impersonation, sixth-degree larceny, second-degree failure to appear and three counts of violation of probation/conditional discharge.

Police reported on March 3 at approximately 10:32 p.m. Verity was arrested an active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on Jan. 16, 2018. Police reported Verity accompanied a female accomplice in making $180 worth of fraudulent charges on the victim’s debit card. The victim is known to Verity. Verity was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

Erin Capozzi, 30, of 638 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged March 3 with credit card theft, second-degree conspiracy at identity theft, sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy at criminal impersonation and criminal impersonation.

Police reported on March 3 at approximately 10:32 p.m. Capozzi was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on Jan. 16, 2018. Police reported Capozzi stole the victim’s debit card and made fraudulent purchases, totaling $180. Capozzi was accompanied with a male accomplice. The victim is known to Capozzi. Police reported on March 3 at approximately 8:49 p.m. officers responded to Capozzi’s residence to serve an active arrest warrant. When the officers made contact with Capozzi, police reported, she gave a false name and date of birth to the Oofficers. She was properly identified and taken into custody. Capozzi was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

Matthew Knott, 33, of 45 Grand St., Seymour, was charged March 3 with issuing a bad check.

Police reported on March 3 at approximately 2:52 p.m. Knott was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a bad check complaint reported on Jan. 20, 2018. Police reported Knott issued a check to Ocean State Job Lot for $212.69, which did not clear. Police reported Knott did not attempt to pay for the merchandise. Knott was given a court date of March 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Jessica Silva, 30, of 39 Horton Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged March 4 with breach of peace.

Police reported on March 4 at approximately 3:15 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Silva scratched the victim on his neck. Silva was given a court date of March 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Jeanie Cyr, 35, of 23 Cozy Lane, Waterbury, was charged March 4 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on March 4 at approximately 5:46 p.m. an officer responded to a one-car accident on Meadow Street. The vehicle struck a utility pole; there were no injuries reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Cyr was operating under the influence of alcohol. Cyr was given a court date of March 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Ashley Tucker, 18, of 23 Beverly Drive, Ansonia, was charged March 4 with illegal possession of crack cocaine, use of drug paraphernalia and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on March 4 at approximately 9:52 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Tucker was arrested on the above listed charges. She was given a court date of March 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
