The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Steven Matson, 28, of 9 Radio Tower Road, Prospect, was charged Nov. 27 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 27 at approximately 12:16 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 42. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Matson was operating under the influence of alcohol. Matson was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Charles Cornell, 30, of 196 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 27 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 27 at approximately 10:20 a.m. Cornell was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Cornell was given a court date of Dec. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

Elecia Ashton, 21, of 59 Haggerty Court, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 28 with two counts of breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Nov. 28 at approximately 9:40 p.m. officers responded to a noise complaint, loud music. Officers have responded to the residence in the past for noise complaints. Officers made contact with Ashton, after she initially refused to answer the door, police reported. Ashton was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released until her court date.

Police reported on Nov. 28 at approximately 10:05 p.m. Ashton was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a noise complaint, loud music, reported on Oct. 31, 2017. Police reported upon the officers’ arrival Ashton refused to answer the door and turned volume of music up louder. Ashton was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

Amanda Marie Jakubczyk, 30, of 78 Svea Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 28 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 28 at approximately 12:22 p.m. Jakubczyk was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Jakubczyk was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $400 cash bond.

Emmanuel Grullon, 31, of 29 Second Ave. 2, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 29 with possession of burglar’s tools and reckless driving.

Police reported on Nov. 29 at approximately 1:20 a.m. an officer was monitoring traffic in area of North Main Street. The officer observed Grullon not wearing a seat belt and attempted to stop Grullon, police reported. Grullon accelerated away from the officer, and the officer did not pursue due to Grullon’s reckless operation, police reported. Grullon was located and stopped on Route 8 North by another officer. Grullon was given a court date of Dec. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Police reported on Nov. 29 at approximately 2:20 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 North. Police reported Grullon was operating the vehicle at the time of the stop. During the investigation, police reported, the officer found a lock smith set and various pry bars inside the vehicle. Grullon was charged with possession of burglar’s tools, given a court date of Dec. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Greg Valentine, 36, of 262 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 29 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Nov. 29 Valentine was served with an active arrest warrant while he was at court. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order reported on Nov. 3, 2017. Police reported Valentine contacted the order by texting and attempting to contact the victim through social media. Valentine was given a court date of Nov. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Edward Gotlibowski, 51, of no certain address, was charged Nov. 29 with second-degree failure to appear and refusal to submit to fingerprinting.

Police reported on Nov. 29 at approximately 6:07 p.m. Gotlibowski was arrested on an active arrest warrant. During the booking procedures, police reported, Gotlibowski was uncooperative and refused to be fingerprinted. Gotlibowski was given a court date of Nov. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

Dominique Jones, 24, of 163 Sylvan St., Bridgeport, was charged Nov. 30 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 30 at approximately 8:24 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Jones pushed the victim and damaged items in the home. Jones was given a court date of Dec. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Rockeim Dukes, 19 of 213 Mansfield Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 30 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear and first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 30 at approximately 12:09 p.m. Dukes turned himself in on active arrest warrants. Dukes was given a court date of Dec. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

Stacy Sinkevich, 37, of 35 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 2 with failure to respond to infraction.

Police reported on Dec. 2 at approximately 12:09 a.m. Sinkevich was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Sinkevich was given a court date of Dec. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $92 cash bond.

Jaime Jaime, 36, of 44 Beardsley Ave., Beacon Falls, was charged Dec. 2 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 2 at approximately 7:03 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Crisanti stole $102.18 worth of merchandise, consisting of hair ties and jewelry. Crisanti was given a court date of Dec. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Brian Weimann, 47, of 10 Pelham Way, Middlebury, was charged Dec. 2 with second-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Dec. 2 at approximately 8:05 p.m. officers responded to a suspicious person complaint at vacant home located in Naugatuck. The caller stated they could see someone inside the garage. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, they located Weimann inside the garage. Police reported Weimann did not have permission to be on or in the property. Weimann was given a court date of Dec. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Brandon Perez, 24, of 23 Manville Road, Woodbridge, was charged Dec. 2 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 2 at approximately 11:01 p.m. an officer responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Prospect Street. The caller stated Perez was asleep in his vehicle at the light of Prospect Street and Locust Street, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Perez was operating under the influence of alcohol. Perez was given a court date of Dec. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Jeremiah Hill, 23, of 560 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 2 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 2 at approximately 11:27 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hill was operating under the influence of alcohol. Hill was given a court date of Dec. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
