The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Michael Warga, 26, of last known address 39 Martha St., Seymour, was charged Nov. 16 with first-degree robbery, first-degree threatening and carrying of pistol or revolver without permit.

Police reported on Nov. 16 Warga the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a robbery reported on Nov. 28, 2014 at the Mobil Gas Station on South Main Street. Police reported Warga entered the business and displayed a handgun to an employee. Warga stole money from the register and fled the scene, police reported. Based on the investigation and evidence found, Warga’s identity was established. Warga was given a court date of Nov. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

Deidre Gonzalez, 25, of 75 Sunburst Road, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 16 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 16 at approximately 7:25 a.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Gonzalez stole $168.60 worth of merchandise. Gonzalez was given a court date of Nov. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

Robert Piccirillo, 26, of 8 Twin Brook Drive, Shelton, was charged Nov. 17 with criminal attempt at fifth-degree larceny, third-degree forgery, interfering with an officer and two counts of second degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 17 at approximately 3:57 p.m. an officer responded to People’s Bank for fraud complaint. Police reported Piccirillo attempted to cash a fraudulent check and the left the bank prior to the officer’s arrival. Police reported Piccirillo was located outside. Piccirillo was given a court date of Nov. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Police reported on Nov. 17 at approximately 4:05 p.m. Piccirillo was arrested on active arrest warrants. Piccirillo was given a court date of Nov. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a surety bond.

Carl Green, 54, of 18 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 18 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Nov. 18 at approximately 8:33 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Green pushed the victim causing her to fall. Green was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Angel Franco, 70, of 959 Woodtick Road, Waterbury, was charged Nov. 18 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 18 at approximately 8:10 p.m. officers responded to New Haven Road for an erratic driver. Police reported an officer located Franco and conducted a motor vehicle investigation at Sunoco Gas Station. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Franco was operating under the influence of alcohol. Franco was given a court date of Nov. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500.00 non-surety bond.

Kimberly Steady, 37, of 35 New St., Seymour, was charged Nov. 18 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 18 at approximately 10:13 p.m. Steady was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Steady was given a court date of Nov. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.

Walter Allan Davis, 33, of 270 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 18 with disorderly conduct and violation of protective order, and Nov. 19 with violation of conditions of release, interfering with an officer, first-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 18 at approximately 11 p.m. officers responded to Spencer Street for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Davis pulled the victim to the floor by her hair. The victim has a protective order against Davis, who violated the order during the altercation, police reported. Davis was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Police reported on Nov. 19 at approximately 1:10 a.m. officers responded to Spencer Street for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. Davis, who was recently released from a prior domestic arrest, returned to the victim’s home, police reported. Davis violated a no contact conditions of released by arriving at the home. When the officers arrived, police reported, Davis ran from the officers but was taken into custody a short distance from the home. Police reported Davis was uncooperative with the officers during the arrest. Davis was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

Tapasvi Shastri, 25, of 295 Bunker Hill Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 19 with second-degree failure to appear, driving under the influence, possession of controlled substance: narcotics and possession of controlled substance in a school zone.

Police reported on Nov. 19 at approximately 12:45 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Cherry Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Shastri was operating under the influence of a narcotic. Police reported Shastri was found to be in possession of 1.7 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Shastri was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

Police reported on Nov. 19 at approximately 12:45 a.m. Shastri was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Shastri was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.

Gary Larowe, 53, of 47 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 19 with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of third-degree burglary.

Police reported on Nov. 19 at approximately 3:33 a.m. officers responded to Nettleton Avenue for a report of a larceny. The victim saw someone open his vehicle’s door and run from the area. Police reported officers located Larowe and Nicole Sheridan in the area. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined they entered vehicles and stole money and various items from the vehicles. Larowe was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,000 surety bond.

Nicole Sheldon, 28, of 47 Lewis Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 19 with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of third-degree burglary.

Joan Pinto, 61, of 27 George St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 19 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 19 at approximately 12:14 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between mother and daughter. During an argument, police reported, they were engaged in a physical altercation. Pinto was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Patricia Omer, 48, of 14 Nicholas Court, Prospect, was charged Nov. 19 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 19 at approximately 8:01 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Prospect Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Omer was operating under the influence. Omer was given a court date of Nov. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Tina Vassallo, 44, of 27 George St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 19 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 19 at approximately 12:14 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between mother and daughter. During an argument, police reported, they were engaged in a physical altercation. Vassallo was given a court date of Nov. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Evelyn Rivera, 54, of 92 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 20 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 20 at approximately 1:14 p.m. Rivera was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Oct. 29, 2017 between mother and daughter. During an argument, police reported, Rivera became physical with the victim. Rivera was given a court date of Nov. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Sabrina Adonis, 27, of A5 South Ave., Danbury, was charged Nov. 20 with conspiracy at sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Nov. 20 at approximately 5:44 p.m. officers responded to Big Y for a larceny complaint. Police reported Adonis and Jack Britton III stole Red Bull, multiple meats and prepared foods totaling $104.77. Adonis was given a court date of Nov. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

Jack Britton III, 45, of 119 Coal Pit Hill Road, Danbury, was charged Nov. 20 with possession of controlled substance: narcotics and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 20 at approximately 5:44 p.m. officers responded to Big Y for a larceny complaint. Police reported Britton and Sabrina Adonis stole Red Bull, multiple meats and prepared foods totaling $104.77. During the investigation, police reported, Britton was found to be in possession of narcotics. Britton was given a court date of Nov. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Kurt Drew, 32, of 410 Funston Ave., Torrington, was charged Nov. 20 with interfering and office and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Nov. 20 at approximately 7:36 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a suspicious motor vehicle. Upon the officers’ arrival, police reported, they found two males sleeping in a vehicle. When the officers interviewed Drew, police reported, he gave a false name. During the investigation, police reported, Drew was found to be in possession of two narcotic smoking pipes. Drew was given a court date of Nov. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Sabrina Adonis, 28, of 19 Wooster St., Bethel, was charged Nov. 20 with six counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 20 at approximately 5:44 p.m. Adonis was arrested on active arrest warrants. Adonis was given a court date of Nov. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

Joshua Irizarry, 25, of no certain address, was charged Nov. 22 with first-degree threatening, second-degree harassment, third-degree stalking and breach of peace.

Police reported on Nov. 22 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Irizarry was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Nov. 19, 2017 between former boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Irizarry refused to leave the victim’s home after being advised to. When the victim was walking on nearby street, police reported, Irizarry followed her and continued to yell at her. Later in the day Irizarry sent threatening text messages to the victim, police reported. Irizarry was given a court date of Nov. 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $15,000 surety bond.

Parker Barry, 32, of 119 Store Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 24 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 24 at approximately 7 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Cherry Street. Police reported Barry was identified and found to be wanted on an active arrest warrant. Barry was given a court date of Nov. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $15,000 surety bond.

Tyler Clifford, 22, of 47 Highland Drive, Prospect, was charged Nov. 24 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 24 at approximately 11:47 p.m. officers responded to an evading motor vehicle accident on Water Street. An officer located Clifford on North Church Street, where he had struck a guardrail, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Clifford was operating under the influence of alcohol. Clifford was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Justin Scanlon, 22, of 22 Elk Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 24 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Nov. 24 at approximately 11:35 p.m. officers responded to Ward Street for a report of people arguing outside a home. Scanlon and Melyssa Blake were found in the area, and during the investigation they were found to be in violation of an active protective order, police reported. Scanlon was given a court date of Nov. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Melyssa L. Blake, 22, of 17 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 24 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Nov. 24 at approximately 11:35 p.m. officers responded to Ward Street for a report of people arguing outside a home. Blake and Justin Scanlon were found in the area, and during the investigation they were found to be in violation of an active protective order, police reported. Blake was given a court date of Nov. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Pascal Poveromo, 57, of 1801 Thomaston Ave., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 25 with possession of controlled substance and driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 25 at approximately 7:41 p.m. an officer responded to a suspicious vehicle on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Poveromo was operating under the influence of alcohol. Poveromo was given a court date of Dec. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Police reported on Nov. 25 at approximately 7:43 p.m. Poveromo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic violation investigated on July 9, 2017. Police reported an officer assisted Poveromo, who was in a disabled vehicle on Route 8 on ramp. During the investigation, police reported, Poveromo was found to be in possession of prescription medication without proof of the prescription. Poveromo was given a court date of Dec. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 court-set surety bond.

Brandon Fitzgerald, 22, of 159 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 25 with possession of controlled substance, illegal sale of controlled substance by non-drug-dependent person, distribution of controlled substances with 1,500 feet from a school, and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Police reported on Nov. 25 at approximately 1:26 p.m. Fitzgerald was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic investigation reported on Nov. 11, 2017. Police reported officers responded to a possible overdose. When the officers arrived they spoke to Fitzgerald, who was later found to be in possession of heroin, police reported. Fitzgerald was given a court date of Dec. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

Benjamin Rosler, 31, of 50-6 Round Tree Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 25 with driving under the influence, breach of peace, interfering with an officer and assault of a public safety or emergency personnel.

Police reported on Nov. 25 at approximately 10:07 p.m. officers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Round Tree Drive. Police reported Rosler was found parked partially on the lawn and sleeping in the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rosler was operating under the influence of alcohol. Rosler was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond. While processing Rosler in the booking area, police reported, he became uncooperative with officers. Police reported Rosler attempted to strike an officer and grabbed the officer. Rosler was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,000 surety bond.
