The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Corey Giangreco, 28, of 256 Riverside Ave., Torrington, was charged June 2 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on June 2 at approximately 11:49 a.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Giangreco was arrested for stealing merchandise. Giangreco was given a court date of June 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. She was released on bond.

Maria Fernandes, 70, of 216 Wooster St., Naugatuck, was charged June 2 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on June 2 at approximately 4:44 p.m. an officer responded to a larceny complaint. Police reported Fernandes stole a package from the victim’s mailbox. The package was delivered by UPS and was valued at $13.95, police reported. Fernandes was given a court date of June 15 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Rita Lakatos, 50, of 137 Whittemore Road, Middlebury, was charged June 3 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 3 at approximately 12:07 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Lakatos hit the victim. Lakatos was given a court date of June 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Christopher Pakula, 33, of 50 Hinkle Road, Washington, was charged June 3 with first-degree criminal trespass, breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on June 3 at approximately 1:17 a.m. officers responded to 66 Church St. for a disturbance. Police reported Pakula was asked to leave the establishment several times and refused to do so. When approached by the officers, police reported, Pakula refused to provide his identification. Pakula was given a court date of June 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Jonell Bonilla, 22, of 273 Oak St., Waterbury, was charged June 3 with possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on June 3 at approximately 9:45 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, Bonilla was found to be in possession of 1.7 grams of cocaine and 0.23 ounces of marijuana. Bonilla was given a court date of June 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Jamesey Auguste, 27, of 20 Diamond St., Naugatuck, was charged June 3 with breach of peace.

Police reported on June 3 at approximately 10:10 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance. Police reported Auguste was intoxicated at a friend’s home and refused to leave the residence when told to. Auguste left prior to the officers’ arrival but was found on the street yelling obscenities, police reported. Auguste was given a court date of June 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Christopher Kurowski, 20, of 73 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged June 4 with failure to respond to payable violation, violation of protective order and carrying a dangerous weapon.

Police reported on June 4 at approximately 2:21 p.m. Kurowski was arrested on active arrest warrants. When being placed into custody Kurowski was found to be in possession on a BB gun, police reported. Kurowski is a respondent on an active protective order that states he is prohibited from possession a firearm or any other weapon, police reported. Kurowski was given a court date of June 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set bond.

David Adamson, 27, of 551 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged June 4 with violation of protective order, violation of probation and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on June 4 at approximately 7:07 p.m. officers responded to a 911 hang up. During the investigation, police reported, Adamson was found within the residence. Adamson was in violation of a protective order, prohibiting him from entering the residence. Adamson was also arrested on active arrest warrants. Adamson was given a court date of June 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

Amy Wergin, 33, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged June 5 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on June 5 at approximately 2:44 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Wergin broke the male’s phone. The male pushed Wergin causing her to fall to the ground, police reported. Wergin was given a court date of June 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Brandon Allen, 37, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged June 5 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on June 5 at approximately 2:44 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, the female broke the Allen’s phone. Allen pushed the female causing her to fall to the ground, police reported. Allen was given a court date of June 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Nitin Dhir, 30, of 6 Fairfield Court, Naugatuck, was charged June 5 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 5 at approximately 8:02 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between mother and adult son. During an argument, police reported, Dhir grabbed the victim by her arm and took the victim’s cell phone. Dhir was given a court date of June 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Rockiem Dukes, 18, of 74 Round Tree Drive, Naugatuck, was charged June 6 with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, first-degree criminal trespass, sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on June 6 at approximately 8:09 a.m. Dukes turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on April 30, 2017 between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Dukes walked out of the victim’s residence. The victim locked the door after Dukes left. Police reported Dukes returned and forced the door open. They continued to argue and Dukes threw the victim to the floor, police reported. When the victim attempted to call the police for help, police reported Dukes took her phone. Dukes was given a court date of June 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

Harvel Brooks, 52, of 150 School St., Naugatuck, was charged June 6 with violation of borough ordinance (blight).

Police reported on June 6 Brooks was given a summons for violation of a borough ordinance. The violation was for a blight complaint made on May 9, 2017. Police reported Brooks has various items on his property which was determined to be in violation of the blight ordinance. Brooks was given several weeks to comply with the town’s ordinance. At the time of the summons, police reported, Brooks has not removed the various items on his property. Brooks was given a court date of June 21 to appear at Waterbury Civil Court.

Robert Carasone, 47, of 62 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged with violation of a restraining order.

Police reported Carasone was arrested by warrant on a restraining order violation that occurred on or about May 24, 2017. Carasone was released and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 21.

Thomas Murowsky, 45, of 40 Summerfield St., Naugatuck, was charged June 6 with criminal attempt at fourth-degree larceny and first-degree forgery.

Police reported on June 6 at approximately 12:24 officers responded to Liberty Bank for a fraud complaint. Police reported Murowsky attempted to cash a savings bond. The savings bond was confirmed to be fraudulent by the U.S. Treasury. Murowsky given a court date of June 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

Michael Romero, 62, of 20 Ketcham Road, Stratford, was charged June 7 with disorderly conduct and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Police reported on June 7 at approximately 9:06 p.m. officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance between Romero and a family member. Police reported it was determined that the two became involved in an argument that became physical. Romero was released on bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 8.

Keith Riley, 40, of 105 Mill St., Naugatuck, was charged June 8 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on June 8 Riley was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint made on May 27, 2017. Police reported Riley was taking care of the victim’s feline and refused to give the feline back. Riley was given a court date of June 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

Debra Campbell, 41, of 103 Deer Run Road, Meriden, was charged June 8 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on June 8 at approximately 3:05 p.m. Campbell was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Campbell was given a court date of June 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

William Anderson, 56, of 86 Sunset Drive, Naugatuck, was charged June 8 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 8 at approximately 6:19 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, they were involved in a physical altercation. Anderson was given a court date of June 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

Edna Anderson, 81, of 86 Sunset Drive, Naugatuck, was charged June 8 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 8 at approximately 6:19 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, they were involved in a physical altercation. Anderson was given a court date of June 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

Jakob Sears, 25, of 894 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged June 9 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 9 at approximately 8:07 p.m. an officer responded to a criminal mischief complaint. Police reported Sears broke two windows and a door frame at the victim’s home. Sears is a family member to the victim, police reported. Sears was given a court date of June 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

Kimar Fraser, 22, of 24 Valley Brook Road, West Haven, was charged June 10 with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and second-degree harassment.

Police reported on June 10 at approximately 5:15 p.m. Fraser was arrested on active arrest warrants. One warrant was for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend reported on May 5, 2017. During an argument, police reported, Fraser hit the victim. The second warrant was for an intimidation complaint reported on May 5, 2017. Police reported Fraser sent threatening text messages to the victim, who is an acquaintance. Fraser was given a court date of June 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000.00 surety bond.

Aniello Liguori, 54, of 732 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged June 10 with second-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on June 10 at approximately 11:15 p.m. Liguori was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife, reported on May 21, 2017. During an argument, police reported, Liguori pushed the victim and grabbed her by her neck. Liguori was given a court date of June 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

Lauren Bellemare, 27, of 190 Straitsville Road, Prospect, was charged June 10 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on June 10 at approximately 1:20 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Bellemare was operating under the influence. Bellemare was given a court date of June 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Brian Gibran, 35, of 9 Cotton Hollow Road, Naugatuck, was charged June 11 with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on June 11 at approximately 6:08 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Gibran stole electronic merchandise from the store. Gibran was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

Glenn Wasilesky, 52, of 23 Dunn Ave., Naugatuck, was charged June 11 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on June 11 at approximately 9:16 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance between landlord and tenant. Police reported Wasilesky approached the victim in a common hallway and began to yell at her. Wasilesky also grabbed the victim by her arm, which was determined to be in violation of an active protective order, police reported. Wasilesky was given a court date of June 12 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Brandon Hall, 32, of Naugatuck, was charged June 11 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on June 11 at approximately 9:19 p.m. an officer responded to Mill Street for a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hall was operating under the influence of alcohol. Hall was given a court date of June 22 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
