The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

Edward Raimo, 32, of 212 Westmont Drive, Waterbury, was charged May 7 with breach of peace, driving under the influence and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 7 at approximately 2:44 a.m. officers responded to Rubber Avenue for two men arguing. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the altercation was between two brothers. During an argument, police reported, they began to fight over a phone. During the struggle they fell to the floor. Upon the officer’s, police reported, arrival he observed Raimo driving away from the incident. Raimo was stopped by the officer, and during the investigation it was determined he was operating under the influence of alcohol, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Raimo was wanted on an active arrest warrant. Raimo was given a court date of May 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on bond.

Patrick Raimo, 30, of 848 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged May 7 with breach of peace.

Police reported on May 7 at approximately 2:44 a.m. officers responded to Rubber Avenue for two men arguing. During the struggle they fell to the floor. Raimo was given a court date of May 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Carlos Rodriguez, 51, of 94 Fairview Ave., Waterbury, was charged May 8 with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Police reported on May 8 at approximately 6:52 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Cherry Street. Rodriguez was identified as the operator of the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Rodriguez was wanted on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on March 9, 2017 between former husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Rodriguez pushed and hit the victim. Rodriguez was given a court date of May 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

Brandy Williams, 31, of 20 Evening Star Drive, Naugatuck, was charged May 9 with risk of injury to child.

Police reported on May 9 at approximately 9:34 p.m. Williams was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on May 3, 2017. Police reported Williams was present when her boyfriend assaulted her juvenile daughter. Police reported Williams did not intervene or stop the abuse, which was observed by a witness. The juvenile was thrown to the ground and kicked. Williams was given a court date of May 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

Michael Rey, 48, of 370 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 9 with first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 9 at approximately 8:01 p.m. Rey turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Rey was given a court date of May 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $2,500.

Hector Herrera, 21, of 64 Willow St., Waterbury, was charged May 9 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on May 9 at approximately 7:51 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. Herrera has a no contact protective order with the victim. Police reported Herrera was operating the victim’s vehicle and was in contact, via phone, with the victim. Herrera was given a court date of May 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

Carlos Infante, 23, of 154 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged May 10 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on May 10 at approximately 9:28 p.m. Infante was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for larceny reported on Feb. 23, 2017 at Cumberland Farms on North Main Street. Police reported Infante stole $72 worth of gas without paying for it. Infante was given a court date of May 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

Dezerae Santos, 18, of 154 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged May 10 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on May 10 at approximately 11:44 a.m. an officer responded to Big Y for a larceny complaint. Police reported Santos stole $57.41 worth of merchandise. Santos was given a court date of May 24 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

Lee Jupina, 52, of 59 Elmwood St., Waterbury, was charged May 11 with disobeying the signal of an officer: elude/attempt escape and reckless driving: not greater than 85 mph.

Police reported on May 11 Naugatuck police were advised that Connecticut State Police were attempting to locate a silver Ford that had been involved in a burglary in Southbury. Naugatuck officers located a vehicle matching the description near Spring Street and Porter Avenue. The vehicle was stopped and as the officer approached, the vehicle fled into Waterbury, police reported. The vehicle was located and Lee was arrested and charged with the listed charges, police reported.
