The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

JAWANN ALLEN, 30, of 35 Wightman Place, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 1 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 1 at approximately 9:17 p.m. Allen was identified on a motor vehicle investigation. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Allen was wanted on an active arrest warrant out of Woodbridge. Allen was given a court date of Aug. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

AARON PLUMMER II, 28, of last known address 69 Concord St., Bristol, was charged Aug. 2 with sixth-degree larceny and disobeying signal of an officer.

Police reported on Aug. 2 Plummer was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on June 30, 2016 at Stop & Shop. Police reported Plummer stole $72.41 worth of merchandise. When asset protection confronted Plummer, police reported, he ran from the store and fled in a vehicle. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle but Plummer continued to drive and the officer disengaged from the pursuit. Plummer was given a court date of Aug. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

DAVID AVERY, 31, of 360 Cherry St. Ext., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 2 with first-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Aug. 2 at approximately 6:54 a.m. Avery turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a vandalism complaint made on April 14, 2016. Police reported Avery damaged vehicles that were parked in a parking lot located on Church Street. Avery was given a court date of 8/2/16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court. He was held on a court set $2,000.00 cash bond.

CAMERON CHAMPLAIN, 18, of 56 Cushman St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 2 with second-degree assault, threatening and breach of peace.

Police reported on Aug. 2 at approximately 8:21 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for an assault. Police reported Champlain was involved in an argument with the victim, who is an employee of the store. Champlain and the victim are known to each other. During the argument, police reported, Champlain threatened to come back to the store and shoot the victim. Champlain and the victim were involved in a physical altercation, which caused both parties to fall to the floor, police reported. Champlain was given a court date of Aug. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $100,000 surety bond.

JEANNIE CLARK, 43, of 7 Glenridge St., Waterbury, was charged Aug. 2 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 2 at approximately 1:27 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Clark stole $164.52 worth of clothing. Clark was given a court date of Aug. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

ALEC GRIDLEY, 32, of 11 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 3 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Aug. 3 at approximately 5:51 a.m. officers responded to 11 Curtis St. for a violation of a protective order. Police reported Gridley arrived at the victim’s home and banged on the door for several minutes. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gridley violated an active protective order. Gridley was given a court date of Aug. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

PATRICK GUERRERA, 30, of 848 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 4 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Aug. 4 at approximately 11:35 p.m. officers responded to 848 New Haven Road for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Guerrera entered the victim’s home intoxicated and argued with her. Guerrera left the home prior to the Officers’ arrival but was found walking on New Haven Road, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Guerrera violated an active protective order. Guerrera was given a court date of Aug. 5 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

JASON GANAVAGE, 34, of 49 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 5 with disorderly conduct and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Police reported on Aug. 5 at approximately 6:30 p.m. officers responded to 49 High St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, the victim wanted to leave the home. Ganavage stood in front of the door to stop the victim from leaving, police reported. Ganavage left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival but was located on South Main Street. Ganavage was given a court date of Aug. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

VANESSA BOOKER, 28, of 156 City View Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Aug. 5 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Aug. 5 at approximately 3:22 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Booker stole $68.23 worth of merchandise from the store. Booker was given a court date of Aug. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER SILVA-HICKS, 20, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 6 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Aug. 6 at approximately 6:40 p.m. Silva-Hicks was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Silva-Hicks was given a court date of Aug. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.

RALPH GARMON, 46, of 34 Bridge St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 6 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Aug. 6 at approximately 2:19 a.m. officers responded to 34 Bridge St. Apt 3C for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Garmon grabbed the victim by her neck, causing the two to fall onto a couch. Garmon was given a court date of Aug. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

SHANA FROST, 27, of 319 Main St., Cromwell, was charged Aug. 7 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Aug. 7 at approximately 6:16 p.m. Frost turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on July 9, 2016. Police reported Frost arrived at the victim’s home and initiated a fight with her. Frost punched the victim during the altercation, police reported. Frost was given a court date of Aug. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

PRISCILLA DIAZ, 33, of 20 Oakland Ave., Danbury, was charged Aug. 7 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Aug. 7 at approximately 12:14 a.m. an officer responded to Cumberland Farms on Rubber Avenue for a suspicious motor vehicle. Upon the officer’s arrival, police reported, he observed the operator who appeared to be passed out in the driver seat. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Diaz was operating under the influence of alcohol. Diaz was given a court date of Aug. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CHANTALLE ANGELICOLA, 41, of 92D Angel Drive, Waterbury, was charged Aug. 7 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Aug. 7 at approximately 2:05 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Salem Bridge. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Angelicola was operating under the influence of alcohol. Angelicola was given a court date of Aug. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DOLORES DIORIO, 22, of 15 Highland Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 7 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 7 at approximately 2:32 a.m. officers responded to Highland Circle for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, they grabbed each other by the hair. The altercation took place in a parked vehicle. Diorio was given a court date of Aug. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

SHAWN PIAMPIANO, 23, of 25 Spencer St., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 7 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Aug. 7 at approximately 2:32 a.m. officers responded to Highland Circle for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, they grabbed each other by the hair. The altercation took place in a parked vehicle. Piampiano was given a court date of Aug. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

ALBERTO ORTIZ, 47, of 48 Phoenix Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Aug. 7 with interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Aug. 7 at approximately 4:08 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, Ortiz, who was the operator, gave the officer a false name. Ortiz was given a court date of Aug. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.
