The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

GEOFFREY GREEN, 20, of 164 Woodtick Road, Waterbury, was charged July 22 with operation of motor vehicle by minor having elevated blood alcohol content.

Police reported on July 22 at approximately 5:59 p.m. officers responded to Mount View Plaza for an erratic driver. The caller stated Green was doing “donuts” and almost struck his vehicle. The vehicle was located and stopped on Jones Road, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Green was operating under the influence of alcohol. Green was given a court date of Aug. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

DAVID FORTIER, 20, of 160 Irvington Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 25 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 25 at approximately 12:01 a.m. officers responded to the area of Lewis Street and Manners Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries reported. Fortier was traveling North on Lewis Street when he sideswiped a parked vehicle, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Fortier was operating under the influence of alcohol. Fortier was given a court date of Aug. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JANICE STRILECKIS, 41, of 36B Union City Road, Prospect, was charged July 26 with two counts of violation of protective order, third-degree burglary, and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 11:45 a.m. Strileckis was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order reported on May 17, 2016. Strileckis attempted to contact the victim by telephone, which was determined to be a violation of an active protective order, police reported. Strileckis was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court set $10,000 surety bond.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 11:45 a.m. Strileckis was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order reported on July 23, 2016. Police reported Strileckis entered the victim’s home and stole a painting. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined the victim had an active protective order against Strileckis at the time of the incident. Strileckis was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $7,500 surety bond.

JAILENE FIGUEROA, 18, of 48 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged July 26 with stealing a firearm, conspiracy at stealing a firearm, sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy at sixth-degree larceny and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 2:58 p.m. Figueroa turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint of a handgun, reported on June 21, 2016. Police reported Figueroa gave a juvenile friend a handgun that belonged to her parent. Figueroa was given a court date of Aug. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $50,000 surety bond.

LYLE SOLSBURY, 40, of 56 Quinn St., Naugatuck, was charged July 26 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 1:58 a.m. an officer investigated a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Solsbury pushed the victim and damaged her cell phone. Solsbury was given a court date of July 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

ROBERT JOSEPH LUNDEQUIST, 28, of 570 May St., Naugatuck, was charged July 26 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on July 26 at approximately 8:21 p.m. officers responded to May Street for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. Police reported Lundequist was intoxicated and arguing with the victim. During the argument, police reported, Lundequist threw items around the home. Lundequist was given a court date of July 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

STEPHEN KLOC, 47, of 35 Timothy Road, Naugatuck, was charged July 27 with gambling premises as nuisance, gambling and professional gambling, and transmission of gambling information.

MICHAEL GERASIMOPOU, 35, of 575 Chestnut Tree Hill Road, Oxford, was charged July 29 with issuing a bad check.

Police reported on July 29 at approximately 3:13 p.m. Gerasimopou was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a bad check complaint made on July 17, 2016. Police reported Gerasimopou issued a check to Ocean State Job Lot for $382.71, which was returned due to insufficient funds. He was given a court date of Aug. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $400 cash bond.

ERIC TRUE, 39, of 456 Prospect Road, Waterbury, was charged July 29 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 29 at approximately 3:34 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported True and two other suspects stole stereo equipment and clothing valued at $107.06. True was given a court date of Aug. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

AMY WIRTES, 34, of 129 Lilac Ave., Oakville, was charged July 29 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 29 at approximately 3:34 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Wirtes and two other suspects stole stereo equipment and clothing valued at $107.06. Wirtes was given a court date of Aug. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ALEC GRIDLEY, 32, of 11 Curtiss St., Naugatuck, was charged July 29 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 29 at approximately 3:34 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Police reported Gridley and two other suspects stole stereo equipment and clothing valued at $107.06. Gridley was given a court date of Aug. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ALEX ROSARIO, 22, of 56 Gorman Circle, Waterbury, was charged July 30 with breach of peace.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 12:23 p.m. an officer responded to 66 Church Street for an assault. During an argument, police reported, Rosario punched the victim. Rosario was given a court date of Aug. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

ELISHA RICHARDS, 24, of 650 Mix Ave., Hamden, was charged July 30 with driving under the influence and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 2:56 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Richards was operating under the influence of alcohol. Richards was given a court date of Aug. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond. Richards was also arrested on an active arrest warrant. Richards was given a court date of Aug. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

TINA VASSALLO, 43, of 52 Walnut St., Naugatuck, was charged July 30 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on July 30 at approximately 4:31 p.m. Vassallo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Vassallo was given a court date of Aug. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $200 cash bond.

WILLIAM MAZIUK, 54, of 21 Royal Oak Drive, Waterbury, was charged July 31 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on July 31 at approximately 12:08 a.m. an officer responded to a motor vehicle accident on Spring Street. Police reported Maziuk struck a utility pole; minor injuries reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Maziuk was operating under the influence of alcohol. Maziuk was given a court date of Aug. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

ALFREDO ASTACIO, 49, of 98 Sylvan Ave., Waterbury, was charged July 31 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on July 31 at approximately 10:43 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Astacio stole packages of T-shirts, jeans and an air mattress valued at $167. Astacio was given a court date of Aug. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.
