The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

EMMA SOTO, 22, of 42 Hawkins St., Derby, was charged May 16 with third-degree criminal trespass and breach of peace.

Police reported on May 16 at approximately 10:29 a.m. an officer responded to Naugatuck High School for a trespassing complaint. Police reported Soto entered the school without permission. Soto was with a student of the school and yelled obscenities at her, police reported. Soto was given a court date of May 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

MITCHELL CAIRNS, 53, of 550 May St., Naugatuck, was charged May 16 with driving under the influence and drinking while operating a motor vehicle.

Police reported on May 16 at approximately 6:11 p.m. officers responded to Prospect Street by Golden Court for a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Cairns was operating under the influence of alcohol. Cairns was given a court date of June 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

WILLIAM HORLACHER, 51, of 92 Ayslum St., New Haven, was charged May 17 with fifth-degree larceny and issuing a bad check.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 10:45 a.m. Horlacher was arrested on an active arrest warrant while he was attending court. Horlacher was given a court date of May 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

MEGAN ALLEN, 29, of 77 Manners Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 17 with first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 12:17 p.m. Allen was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Allen was given a court date of May 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

JOSE ALVARADO, 38, of 22 Beebe St., Naugatuck, was charged May 17 with disorderly conduct and threatening.

Police reported on May 17 at approximately 10:45 p.m. the victim requested an escort to her home to retrieve belongings due to domestic issues at the home. While the victim was in the home, police reported, Alvarado made threatening statements to her. Alvarado was given a court date of May 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

CONRAD MARYANN, 47, of 112 Ward St., Naugatuck, was charged May 20 with misuse of 911.

Police reported on May 20 at approximately 10:50 a.m. Conrad called 911 for a non-emergency call. Conrad was advised to call the routine line to keep the 911 line open for emergency types of calls, police reported. Conrad called the 911 line two additional times to make routine complaints, police reported. Conrad was given a court date of June 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

CHEYENNE WALENT, 28, of 51 Mount Carmel Ave., Waterbury, was charged May 20 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on May 20 at approximately 11:33 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 63. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Walent was operating under the influence of alcohol. Walent was given a court date of June 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

KARLEIGH LOGAN, 25, of 281 Peach Orchard Road, Waterbury, was charged May 21 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on May 21 at approximately 1:07 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Logan was operating under the influence of alcohol. Logan was given a court date of June 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DAVID RADLEY, 35, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged May 21 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on May 21 at approximately 3 p.m. an officer responded to a motor vehicle investigation in the parking lot of Mountview Plaza. Police reported Radley struck two parked vehicles while backing out of a parking space; no injuries reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Radley was operating under the influence of alcohol. Radley was given a court date of June 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JAMES ALAN DIRIENZO, 42, of 58 Gorman St., Naugatuck, was charged May 21 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on May 21 at approximately 3:52 p.m. officers responded to 58 Gorman St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. The victim and Dirienzo were arguing while driving, police reported. During the argument, police reported, Dirienzo slapped the victim. Dirienzo was given a court date of May 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

LILLIAN GARCIA-ADAMS, 52, of 164 Horton Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged May 22 with driving under the influence and evading responsibility motor vehicle.

Police reported on May 22 at approximately 8:15 a.m. the officers responded to 771 Beacon Valley Road for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported Garcia-Adams drove onto a lawn and struck the guide wires to a utility pole. Garcia-Adams was located at her residence. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Garcia-Adams was operating under the influence of alcohol and or narcotics. Garcia-Adams was given a court date of June 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MANUEL TAVARES, 49, of 42 Guntown Road, Naugatuck, was charged May 22 with breach of peace.

Police reported on May 22 at approximately 8:02 p.m. officers responded to Gunntown Road for an altercation in the roadway. There is an ongoing dispute with the parties involved. Police reported a juvenile and Jayson Jones drove past Mathew’s residence multiple times and parked in a parking lot in close proximity to Matthew Tavares residence. Adam Siemenski and Trevor Etkin were also parked in the parking lot, who were with the juvenile and Jones at the time of the altercation, police reported. Matthew Tavares drove past the group and threw change at Siemenski’s vehicle, police reported. After Matthew Tavares threw the change, police reported, all the parties left the lot and drove towards his home. As they approached the residence Manuel and Mathew Tavares walked into the roadway and approached the vehicle with the juvenile and Jones, police reported. An argument developed and Manuel Tavares grabbed the juvenile by her wrists, police reported. All the parties were given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

MATTHEW TAVARES, 18, of 42 Gunntown Road, Naugatuck, was charged May 22 with breach of peace.

Police reported a juvenile and Jayson Jones drove past Mathew’s residence multiple times and parked in a parking lot in close proximity to Matthew Tavares residence.
