The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

NICHOLAS SIMPSON, 27, of 80 Orange St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 22 with engaging police in pursuit and reckless driving: greater than 85 mph.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 11 p.m. Simpson turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for motor vehicle investigation on Feb. 13, 2016. The officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 North. Police reported Simpson refused to stop and accelerated away from the officer. The pursuit was ended and Simpson was identified as the operator through the investigation, police reported. Simpson was given a court date of March 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

CHRSITOPHER KUROWSKI, 19, of 120 Orchard Hill Drive, Stratford, was charged Feb. 22 with risk of injury to child, disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 5:10 p.m. officers responded to Graham Ridge Road for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. They were arguing in a vehicle when Michaela Begg was returning some of Kurowski’s property, police reported. During the argument, police reported, Begg broke Kurowski’s blender and slapped him. Police reported Kurowski spit at Begg and dented the hood of her vehicle. Kurowski was given a court date of Feb. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

MICHAELA BEGG, 22, of 30 Donovan Road, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with risk of injury to child, disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 5:10 p.m. officers responded to Graham Ridge Road for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. They were arguing in a vehicle when Michaela Begg was returning some of Kurowski’s property, police reported. During the argument, police reported, Begg broke Kurowski’s blender and slapped him. Police reported Kurowski spit at Begg and dented the hood of her vehicle. Begg was given a court date of Feb. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

DILLON DUTTON, 27, of 24 Golden Court, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 22 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 22 at approximately 10:24 p.m. officers responded to 24 Golden Court for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Dutton pushed the victim and threw food and pans in the kitchen. Dutton was given a court date of Feb. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

JESSICA CHANDLER, 29, of 79 Pleasant Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 24 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 24 at approximately 7 p.m. Chandler was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Jan. 13, 2016 at 79 Pleasant Ave. between mother and daughter. During an argument, police reported, Chandler broke a glass picture and struck the victim with a bat. The victim sustained bruising and swelling to her mouth, police reported. Chandler was given a court date of Feb. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

JAIME PERUGINI, 36, of 164 Walnut St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 24 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 24 at approximately 3:03 p.m. an officer responded to Cumberland Farms on Rubber Avenue for a larceny complaint. Police reported Perugini stole Alieve, Robitussin and Advil valued at $23.85 and left the store. She was located in the area. Perugini was given a court date of March 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

EDWARD FARMER, 61, of 72 Post Road, Danbury, was charged Feb. 25 with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Feb. 25 at approximately 6:35 a.m. Farmer turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Jan. 31, 2016. During an argument, police reported, Farmer damaged the victim’s front door and pushed an adult child. Farmer was given a court date of Feb. 25 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

STEVEN AMBROSE, 22, of 1579 Hamilton Ave., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 25 with third-degree robbery, violation of protective order, disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer, sixth-degree larceny and threatening.

Police reported on Feb. 25 at approximately 6:42 p.m. Ambrose turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between father and son reported on Feb. 21, 2016. Police reported Ambrose argued with the victim over money. The victim refused to give money to Ambrose, police reported. Ambrose threw the victim to the ground and took the victim’s wallet, police reported, and stole $50 from the victim. Ambrose was located in the area of Osborn Road where he ran into a wooded area away from the officers, police reported. Ambrose was given a court date of Feb. 26 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $10,000 surety bond.

ADAM FINLAY, 25, of 60 Phoenix Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 27 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 1:55 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Phoenix Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Finlay was operating under the influence of alcohol. Finlay was given a court date of March 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

GUY LABBE, 20, of 84 Waterville St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 27 with violation of probation.

Police reported on Feb. 27 Labbe was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Labbe was given a court date of Feb. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $25,000 surety bond.

JOSE HERNANDEZ, 46, of 23 Lawrence St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 27 with sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 9:09 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hernandez and Erica Flores were involved in a larceny from Stop & Shop. They stole $422.80 worth of merchandise and groceries. During the investigation, police reported, Flores gave a false name of Jessica. Hernandez also lied to the officers about Flores real name and told the officers Erica Flores is known to him by the name “Jesse,” police reported. Hernandez was given a court date of Feb. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

ERICA FLORES, 27, of 23 Goss St., Waterbury, was charged Feb. 27 with sixth-degree larceny, interfering with an officer, criminal impersonation and fourth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 9:09 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Flores and Jose Hernandez were involved in a larceny from Stop & Shop. They stole $422.80 worth of merchandise and groceries, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, Flores gave a false name of Jessica.

Flores was also charged in connection with a past larceny complaint. Police reported on Jan. 24 at approximately 11:27 a.m. an officer responded to Stop & Shop for a past larceny complaint. Flores was observed on store security cameras stealing 29 men’s razors and 14 women’s razors valued at $1,147.71, police reported. On Feb. 27 at approximately 9:09 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. Flores was a passenger in the vehicle. Flores was given a court date of Feb. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on bond.

THOMAS NAPPI, 21, of 475 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 27 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 11:13 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Nappi was operating under the influence of alcohol. Nappi was given a court date to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOY WINTERHALDER, 56, of 28 Calvin St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 27 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 10:37 p.m. officers responded to 28 Calvin St. for a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend. They were driving home and began to argue, police reported. During the argument, police reported, Peter Marino pulled Winterhalder’s hair and Winterhalder struck Marino. Winterhalder was given a court date of Feb. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

PETER MARINO, 73, of 28 Calvin St., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 27 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Feb. 27 at approximately 10:37 p.m. officers responded to 28 Calvin St. for a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend. They were driving home and began to argue, police reported. During the argument, police reported, Marino pulled Joy Winterhalder’s hair and Winterhalder struck Marino. Marino was given a court date of Feb. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

PATRICK HUGHES, 21, of 38 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 28 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 28 at approximately 12:16 a.m. officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hughes was operating under the influence of alcohol. Hughes was given a court date of March 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

ADAM SHEPHERD, 19, of 11 Fairfield Court, Naugatuck, was charged Feb. 28 with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Feb. 28 at approximately 4:26 p.m. officers responded to 11 Fairfield Court for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, Shepherd damaged a vacuum and a wall in the home. Police reported Shepherd left the residence prior to the officers’ arrival. He was located in the area. Shepherd was given a court date of Feb. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

WILLIAM FRANKLIN, 19, of 20 Pine St., Oxford, was charged Feb. 28 with non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or day care, possession with intent to sell, interfering with an officer, weapons in vehicles and possession of controlled substance: narcotics.

Police reported on Feb. 28 at approximately 5:18 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Cross Street. During the investigation, police reported, Franklin and Ronald Feola were found to have 9.2 grams of marijuana, a BB gun and several prescription pills. Franklin was given a court date of March 9 to appear at Waterbury superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

RONALD FEOLA, 23, of 843 North St., Milford, was charged Feb. 28 with non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school or day care, illegal sale of controlled substance, interfering with an officer, weapons in vehicles and possession of controlled substance: narcotics.

Police reported on Feb. 28 at approximately 5:18 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Cross Street. During the investigation, police reported, William Franklin and Ronald Feola were found to have 9.2 grams of marijuana, a BB gun and several prescription pills. Feola was given a court date of March 9 to appear at Waterbury superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.
