The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

TARSHEA SAUNDERS, 37, of 1447 Bank St., 2S, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 25 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 25 at approximately 11:02 a.m. Saunders turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Saunders was given a court date of Feb. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

CHRISTINE MOTT, 33, of 17 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 25 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 25 at approximately 4:49 p.m. Mott was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Derby. Mott was given a court date of Feb. 8 to appear at Derby Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

STEVEN T. POREMBA, 24, of 85 Brookside Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 26 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 26 at approximately 4:31 p.m. Poremba was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Bridgeport. Poremba was given a court date of Feb. 3 to appear at Bridgeport Superior Court and released on a court-set $1,000 surety bond.

MICHELE STRAIN, 49, of 73 Carriage Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 26 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 26 at approximately 7:23 p.m. Strain was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Derby. Strain was given a court date of Feb. 8 to appear at Derby Superior Court and released on a court set $500 surety bond.

QUANTASHAE NEALY, 25, of 45 Catalina Drive, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 27 with driving under the influence and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Jan. 27 at approximately 1:25 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on New Haven Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Nealy was operating under the influence of alcohol. When Nealy was placed under arrest she became uncooperative with the officer, police reported, refusing to enter the cruiser. Nealy was given a court date of Feb. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

RONALD BARTON, 25, of no certain address, was charged Jan. 27 with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 27 Barton was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a robbery reported on Sept. 27, 2015 at 7-11 Store. Police reported Barton entered the store and stole five cartons of cigarettes and 20 packs of cigarettes while displaying a knife. The total amount stolen was $630 worth of merchandise. Barton was given a court date of Jan. 27 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

GUS MELCHIONNO, 55, of 4 Michelle Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 27 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 27 at approximately 7:44 p.m. officers responded to 4 Michelle Lane for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, they hit each other. Melchionno was given a court date of Jan. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

TINA MELCHINNO, 53, of 4 Michelle Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 27 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 27 at approximately 7:44 p.m. officers responded to 4 Michelle Lane for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, they hit each other. Melchionno was given a court date of Jan. 28 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

VANESSA M. VAZQUEZ, 36, of 38 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 27 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 27 at approximately 9:17 p.m. officers responded to 38 Highland Ave. Apt 106 for a noise complaint. Vazquez was arrested for the above mentioned charge. Vazquez was given a court date of Feb. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

RONALD BARROWS, 36, of 7 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 28 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Jan. 28 at approximately 6:34 p.m. officers responded to 7 Lewis St. for a domestic between boyfriend and girlfriend. When the officers entered the apartment, police reported, Barrows hid in a closet. During an argument, police reported, Barrows threw an item at the victim. Barrows was given a court date of Jan. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

AARON OSTUNI, 38, of 185 Melbourne St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 29 with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance: narcotics.

Police reported on Jan. 29 at approximately 7:25 p.m. officers responded to 185 Melbourne St. for a domestic dispute father and son. During the investigation, police reported, Ostuni was found to be in possession of several syringes and heroin. Ostuni was given a court date of Feb. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

CHRISTINA RYAN, 37, of 38 Kimball Road, New Britain, was charged Jan. 30 with second-degree robbery, conspiracy at second-degree robbery, breach of peace and sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 6:40 p.m. Ryan was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a robbery reported on Aug. 1, 2015 at Big Y. Police reported Ryan exited the store without paying for $216.29 worth of groceries. When a loss prevention associate approached her, police reported she pushed the employee and attempted to run. The employee held her and a male accomplice approached the employee with what the employee believed to be a knife and told the employee to release the female, which he did, police reported. Ryan and the male accomplice drove away from the store. Ryan was given a court date of Feb. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

ADAM LIBORATORE, 31, of 20 Gilbert St., Thomaston, was charged Jan. 30 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 1:49 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Liboratore was operating under the influence of alcohol. Liboratore was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.

RYAN BOGERT, 26, of 200 Wigwam Road, Litchfield, was charged Jan. 30 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 2 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Maple Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Bogert was operating under the influence of alcohol. Bogert was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ERICKA CORBETT, 35, of 109 North Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 30 with driving under the influence and evading responsibility.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 3:55 a.m. officers responded to 90 Aetna St. for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported Corbett struck two unoccupied parked vehicles on Aetna Street and left the scene. Corbett traveled to North Hoadley Street where she struck another parked vehicle and a utility pole, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Corbett was operating under the influence of alcohol. Corbett was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

KENNETH DEAN, 28, of 168 North Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 30 with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, first-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree criminal mischief and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 1:34 p.m. officers responded to 168 Hoadley St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Dean held the victim down and would not allow her to move. Dean also threw an object at the victim causing a small abrasion on her shoulder, police reported. Dean walked to the bathroom where he damaged a sink and broke her tablet. When the victim attempted to run next door to call the police, Dean grabbed her and prevented her from leaving, police reported. Dean left prior to the officers’ arrival. At approximately 4:15 p.m. Dean drove to the Naugatuck Police Department where he was taken into custody, police reported. Dean was given a court date of Feb. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

JETT BLACK, 19, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 30 with interfering with an officer.

Police reported on Jan. 30 an officer was driving on Meadow Street near the basketball courts for Salem School. There were young children in the area. As the officer drove by a juvenile raised his middle fingers and swore at the officer, police reported. The officer advised the juvenile and other parties he was with to leave the area and they refused, police reported. Police reported the juvenile continued to swear at the officer. When the juvenile was being placed under arrest, police reported Black became aggressive at the officer and refused to leave. The juvenile was given a court date of Feb. 10 to appear at Waterbury Juvenile Court and released to his mother. Black was given a court date of Feb. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

GEORGE HARNISH, 51, of 117 Algin Drive, Middlebury, was charged Jan. 30 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 30 at approximately 9:20 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Allerton Road. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Harnish was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

STEPHEN WYMAN, 23, of 44 Lewis St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 30 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 30 an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Wyman was operating under the influence of alcohol. Wyman was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

AVA DONADIO, 24, of 59 Beech Tree Lane, Monroe, was charged Jan. 31 with driving under the influence.
Police reported on Jan. 31 at approximately 12:56 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Donadio was operating under the influence of alcohol. Donadio was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

HAROLD CORKER JR., 54, of 165 Marshall Lane, Derby, was charged Jan. 31 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 31 at approximately 4:23 a.m. an officer responded to a suspicious vehicle on Church Street. Police reported Corker was found to be sleeping in the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Corker was operating under the influence of alcohol. Corker was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

ROBERT STEPHENS, 28, of 2199 Corbin Ave., New Britain, was charged Jan. 31 with second-degree harassment.

Police reported on Jan. 31 Stephens turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint. Police reported Stephens contacted the victim through phone calls and e-mail numerous times after being advised not to contact the victim. Stephens was given a court date of Feb. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

GULISER BAYRAM, 27, of 223 Meadow St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 31 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 31 at approximately 5:54 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Bridge Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Bayram was operating under the influence of marijuana. Bayram was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

JOHN STASKO, 33, of 8 3rd Ave., Shelton, was charged Jan. 31 with violation of protective order and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 31 at approximately 8:18 p.m. an officer responded to 18 Oak St. L for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Stasko grabbed the victim by her face. During the investigation it was determined Stasko violated an active protective order. Stasko was given a court date of Feb. 1 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $50,000 surety bond.

RYAN ROMANSKI, 23, of 117 Summit Road, Prospect, was charged Feb. 1 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Feb. 1 at approximately 1:13 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Cross Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Romanski was operating under the influence of alcohol. Romanski was given a court date of Feb. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
