The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

WILLIAM MONROE, 46, of 16 Hard St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 4 with risk of injury to child, second-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree sexual assault.

Police reported on Jan. 4 at approximately 9:39 a.m. Monroe was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a sexual assault of a female juvenile victim. The victim is known to Monroe, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Monroe inappropriately touched the victim. Monroe was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $200,000 surety bond.

LEE SWANSON, 34, of 200 North Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 4 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 4 at approximately 1:48 a.m. officers responded to 200 North Hoadley St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Swanson grabbed at the victim causing a small cut on the victim’s nose. Swanson was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.

LUCIENE BRAGA, 35, of 63 Olive St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 4 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 4 at approximately 5:01 p.m. Braga was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Braga was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

JULIA CRUZ, 46, of 50 Manners Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 4 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 4 at approximately 4:49 p.m. Cruz was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Cruz was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER GILLOTTI, 27, of 1873 North Main St., Waterbury, was charged Jan. 5 with failure to register: nonviolent sex offense/offense against minor.

Police reported on Jan. 5 at approximately 3:33 p.m. Gillotti was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of Sex Offender Registry. Police reported Gillotti failed to notify the unit with a change of address. Gillotti was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $50,000 surety bond.

ACHAUNTI STRONG, 18, of 183 Graham Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 5 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 5 at approximately 1:19 p.m. Strong was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance between two brothers, reported on Dec. 19, 2015. During an argument, police reported, Strong punched the victim. Strong was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ALEXANDER ONESCHUK, 69, of 1057 Andrew Mountain Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 5 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 5 at approximately 9:11 a.m. Oneschuk turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Oneschuk was given a court date of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court set $362 cash bond.

VICTOR BENTO, 48, of 55 Olive St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 5 with third-degree assault, risk of injury to child and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 5 the Naugatuck High School resource officer investigated a domestic disturbance reported by a student. The disturbance occurred the prior night, Jan. 4. During an argument, police reported, Bento struck two of his children. Bento was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and was held on a $25,000 surety bond.

BRIANNA ALIYA TRIPP, 18, of 933 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 5 with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 5 at approximately 4:04 p.m. officers responded to 95 Spring St. for an assault. The assault occurred between two former roommates, police reported. During an argument, police reported, they began to fight and punch each other. The altercation caused scratches and bruising to both parties. Tripp was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

ENID VELEZ, 19, of 95 Spring St., 2nd, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 5 with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 5 at approximately 4:04 p.m. officers responded to 95 Spring St. for an assault. The assault occurred between two former roommates, police reported. During an argument, police reported, they began to fight and punch each other. The altercation caused scratches and bruising to both parties. Velez was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

ANGELINA RIVERA, 22, of 109 North Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 5 with risk of injury to child and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 5 at approximately 6:27 p.m. officers responded to 109 North Hoadley St. for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Christian Martinez damaged a bedroom door. Both Martinez and Rivera pushed each other during the altercation, police reported. There was a child present during the incident, who was not harmed. Rivera was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

CHRISTIAN MARTINEZ, 24, of 109 North Hoadley St., 1st floor, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 5 with risk of injury to child and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 5 at approximately 6:27 p.m. officers responded to 109 North Hoadley St. for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Martinez damaged a bedroom door. Both Martinez and Angelina Rivera pushed each other during the altercation, police reported. There was a child present during the incident, who was not harmed. Martinez was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

ANDREW BOSTWICK, 29, of 1346 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 5 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 5 at approximately 9:45 p.m. officers responded to 1346 Rubber Ave. Ext. for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Bostwick threatened to harm the victim. Bostwick was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

STEPHANIE STOERZINGER, 22, of 123 May St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 6 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 6 at approximately 7:19 p.m. Stoerzinger turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a domestic disturbance reported on Dec. 24, 2015 between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Stoerzinger struck the victim. Stoerzinger was given a court date of Jan. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ROOSEVELT JEFFERSON, 35, of 11 Delhurst Drive, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 6 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 6 at approximately 5:30 p.m. officers responded to Donovan Road for a motor vehicle accident. While traveling on Donovan Road Jefferson struck a mailbox and a tree, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Jefferson was operating under the influence of alcohol. Jefferson was given a court date of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

AARON OSTUNI, 38, of 185 Melbourne St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 7 with illegal use of credit card and fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 7 at approximately 9:33 a.m. Ostuni was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for fraudulent charges to a company’s credit card, which was reported on Dec. 10, 2015. Police reported Ostuni was terminated from his place of employment. After being terminated, police reported, Ostuni used the company’s credit card to make purchases which totaled $554.41. Ostuni was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

BRIAN MALLANE JR., 34, of 18 Mallane Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 7 with risk of injury to child, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree reckless engagement, breach of peace and criminal attempt at second-degree burglary.

Police reported on Jan. 7 at approximately 12:53 p.m. Mallane turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for vandalism complaint reported on Dec. 19, 2015. Police reported Mallane arrived at the victim’s home and damaged an exterior door and broke four windows. Mallane is an acquaintance to the victim. The victim’s child was home at the time of the incident, police reported. Mallane was given a court date of Jan. 21 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $50,000 surety bond.

TAMAYO F. FERREIRA, 33, of 21 Pond St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 7 with failure to respond to a payable violation.

Police reported on Jan. 7 at approximately 5:29 p.m. Ferreira was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Ferreira was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $150 cash bond.

CHRISTOPHER POLLER, 22, of 81 Villagewood Drive, Waterbury, was charged Jan. 7 with first-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 7 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Poller was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Poller was given a court date of Jan. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

JAMES MESSENGER, 39, of 246 East Waterbury Road, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 8 with issuing a bad check.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 6:39 p.m. Messenger was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a bad check complaint made on Oct. 26, 2015. Police reported Messenger wrote a check to the victim for the amount of $686.01. Police reported the check was declined due to insufficient funds and Messenger did not attempt to repay the victim. Messenger was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

MARTIN WARREN, 57, of 23 Union St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 8 with failure to register with sex offender registry.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 3:54 p.m. Warren was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a Sex Offender Registry violation. Police reported Warren did not notify the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry of his current address. Warren was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $75,000 surety bond.

BRIAN FUDA, 42, of 52 Side Hill Court, Danbury, was charged Jan. 8 with third-degree larceny and conspiracy at third-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 8 at approximately 10:36 a.m. Fuda turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on July 18, 2015.Police reported Fuda stole a copper gate from the front entrance to Grove Cemetery valued at $5,000. Fuda scrapped the gate, with a male accomplice, at a scrap metal company. Fuda was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

MARKUS GILL, 27, of 101 Eden Drive, Danbury, was charged Jan. 9 with illegal sale of heroin.

Police reported on Jan. 9 at approximately 7:48 p.m. Gill was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a narcotic investigation during the month of March 2015. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Gill sold 3.4 grams of heroin. Gill was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $25,000 surety bond.

LANCE LABONTE, 45, of 22 Laura Ave., Prospect, was charged Jan. 9 with second-degree criminal mischief, breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 9 at approximately 1:22 a.m. officers responded to 11 Wood St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Labonte spit at the victim. Police reported Labonte also damaged two tires on the victim’s vehicle. Labonte was given a court date of Jan. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

RONALD TASKER, 50, of 17 Route 87, Columbia, was charged Jan. 9 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Jan. 9 at approximately 3:37 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Tasker attempted to return merchandise that he had taken off of the shelves and did not purchase. The amount of the fraudulent return was $54.15, police reported. Tasker was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER HICKS-SILVA, 19, of 21 Rufus St., Ansonia, was charged Jan. 10 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 10:10 a.m. Hicks-Silva turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on Nov. 28, 2015. Police reported Hicks-Silva punched the victim, who is an acquaintance of his. Hicks-Silva was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ELIZABETH SPRINGMEYER, 26, of 76 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 10 with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 03:26 a.m. officers responded to 76 Carroll St. 3rd floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Springmeyer pushed Angel Acevedo, who was holding a child at the time. Acevedo grabbed Springmeyer by the arms, police reported. When Springmeyer attempted to call 911, Acevedo took the phone from Springmeyer, police reported. Springmeyer was given a court date of Jan. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

ANGEL ACEVEDO, 32, of 76 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 10 with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 03:26 a.m. officers responded to 76 Carroll St. 3rd floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Springmeyer pushed Angel Acevedo, who was holding a child at the time. Acevedo grabbed Springmeyer by the arms, police reported. When Springmeyer attempted to call 911, Acevedo took the phone from Springmeyer, police reported. Acevedo was given a court date of Jan. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

MARC GRONDIN, 27, of 43 Park Hill Road, Bristol, was charged Jan. 10 sixth-degree larceny, possession of controlled substance: narcotics and narcotics kept only in original container

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 5:49 p.m. officers responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Grondin stole $95.72 worth of clothing and fled the store on foot. Grondin was located in the area by an officer, police reported. Grondin was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

During the investigation, police reported, Grondin was found to be in possession of a syringe, a narcotic pill and wax marijuana residue. Grondin was given a court date of Jan. 20 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

RYAN SOMERS, 34, of 440 South Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 10 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 9:33 p.m. officers responded to 440 South Main St. 1st floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Kristen Lane kicked Somers in the shin. Somers then threw a vacuum cleaner at Lane, police reported. Somers was given a court date of Jan. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

KRISTEN A. LANE, 39, of 440 South Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 10 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 10 at approximately 9:33 p.m. officers responded to 440 South Main St. 1st floor for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Kristen Lane kicked Somers in the shin. Somers then threw a vacuum cleaner at Lane, police reported. Lane was given a court date of Jan. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.
