The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

LEANN NOSS, 25, of 56 Irving St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 28 with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 28 at approximately 4:33 p.m. Noss was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on Dec. 6, 2015. During an argument, police reported, Noss shoved the victim, who is an acquaintance. Noss was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $1,000 bond.

WILLOW MARTIN, 18, of 208 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with interfering with an officer.

ANTONIO BRAGA, 60, of 118 Francis St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 28 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 28 at approximately 1:39 officers responded to 63 Olive St. for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Braga punched the victim causing minor injury to the victim’s lip. Braga was given a court date of Dec. 29 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

KENNETH GARTLAND, 49, of 487 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 29 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 29 at approximately 4:51 p.m. Gartland was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Sept. 28, 2015, at Walmart. Police reported Gartland stole clothing valued at $65. Gartland was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOSEPH MAPPA, 34, of 145 Lantern Park Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 29 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 29 at approximately 9:35 a.m. Mappa turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Mappa was given a court date of Dec. 29 and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

JOSHUA W. YOUNG, 35, of 52 Little River Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 29 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 29 at approximately 6:59 p.m. Young was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Young was given a court date of Jan. 6 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

JAMES ROVINELLI, 23, of 127 Greenmount Terrace, Waterbury, was charged Dec. 29 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 29 at approximately 8:58 p.m. Rovinelli turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Rovinelli was given a court date of Dec. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $1,500 surety bond.

TIMOTHY CARLSON, 57, of last known address 14 Barnum Court, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 30 with violation of conditions of release.

Police reported on Dec. 30 at approximately 14:42 p.m. officers responded to 14 Barnum Court for a disturbance. Police reported Carlson was outside the residence yelling. Carlson has a standing conditions of release to stay away from the residence, police reported. Carlson was given a court date of Dec. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $20,000 surety bond.

KYLE CONRAD, 45, of 15 Vethte St., Johnstown, was charged Dec. 30 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Dec. 30 at approximately 7:04 p.m. officers responded to 112 Ward St. for violation of a protective order. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Conrad was in the home of the protected party, which was in violation of an active protective order. Conrad was given a court date of Dec. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

LAWRENCE CARDINAL, 54, of 36 Carroll St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 30 with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Dec. 30 at approximately 7:57 p.m. officers responded to 36 Carroll St. for a domestic disturbance between brother and sister. During an argument, police reported, Cardinal damaged a bedroom door. Cardinal was given a court date of Dec. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

BRIAN JACKSON, 20, of 866 New Haven Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 31 with risk of injury to child.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at approximately 9 a.m. Jackson was arrested on an active arrest warrant while he was at court. The warrant was for a fondling complaint made on July 26, 2015. Police reported Jackson had a female juvenile touch his genital area. Jackson was given court date of Dec. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

JOSE FLECHA, 46, of 154 Rosette St., New Haven, was charged Dec. 31 with second-degree robbery, reckless endangerment, conspiracy at with second-degree robbery and conspiracy at sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 31 at approximately 9 a.m. Flecha was arrested on an active arrest warrant while he was at court. The warrant was for a robbery reported on Aug. 1, 2015 at Big Y. Police reported a female exited the store without paying for $216.29 worth of groceries. When a loss prevention associate approached her, she pushed the employee and attempted to run, police reported. The employee held her and Flecha approached the employee with what the employee believed to be a knife, police reported. Police reported Flecha told the employee to release the female which he did. Flecha and the female accomplice drove away from the store. Flecha was given a court date of Dec. 31 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held for arraignment.

MICHAEL SANTOS, 24, of 43 Karen Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 1 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 1 at approximately 2:05 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Prospect Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Santos was operating under the influence of alcohol. Santos was given a court date of Jan. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

RANDALL MARTINELLI, 28, of 42 Sharon Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 1 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 1 at approximately 2:30 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Martinelli was operating under the influence of alcohol. Martinelli was given a court date of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

HAYLEY YASEVAC, 46, of 15 Barn Finch Circle, Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 1 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 1 at approximately 1:45 p.m. officers responded to 28 Barnfinch Circle for a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. During an argument, police reported, Yasevac threw items around the home. Yasevac was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

CHRISTOPHER SILVA-HICKS, 19, of 23 Salem St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 2 with first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Jan. 2 at approximately 7:45 p.m. Silva-Hicks was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a trespassing complaint reported on Dec. 9, 2015 at Naugatuck High School. Police reported Silva-Hicks, who is a former student, was observed on school grounds. Silva-Hicks was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

THOMAS NAPPI, 21, of 475 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 2 with breach of peace, third-degree assault, conspiracy to commit third-degree assault and conspiracy to commit breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 2 at approximately 2:16 p.m. Nappi turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for an assault reported on Oct. 27, 2015. Police reported Nappi, with a female accomplice, assaulted the victim, who is an acquaintance. The assault happened outside the residence of 24 Greenwood St., police reported. Nappi was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $2,500 surety bond.

JEFFREY GRANDPRE, 53, of 53 Conrad St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 2 with possession of controlled substance: narcotics.

Police reported on Jan. 2 at approximately 5:49 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Bridge Street. Jeffrey Grandpre was identified as the driver and Stacy Francoeur was a passenger in the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Francoeur was in possession of Alprazolam pills, which were not prescribed to her. Grandpre was found to be in possession of 0.031 ounces of heroin. Grandpre was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

STACY FRANCOEUR, 43, of 569 Chestnut Tree Hill Road, Oxford, was charged Jan. 2 with illegal possession of drugs.

Police reported on Jan. 2 at approximately 5:49 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Bridge Street. Jeffrey Grandpre was identified as the driver and Stacy Francoeur was a passenger in the vehicle. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Francoeur was in possession of Alprazolam pills, which were not prescribed to her. Grandpre was found to be in possession of 0.031 ounces of heroin. Francoeur was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.

ALAN P. FRAZIER, 35, of 496 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 2 with first-degree failure to appear and second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Jan. 2 at approximately 9:14 p.m. Frazier was arrested on two active arrest warrants. Frazier was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a cash bond.

DEBORAH BERKOWITZ, 47, of 88 Old Colony Road, Monroe, was charged Jan. 3 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 12:57 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on the on ramp to Route 8 South. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Berkowitz was operating under the influence of alcohol. Berkowitz was given a court date of Jan. 14 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

JEROME MAHABEER, 33, of 25 Stanley St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 3 with driving under the influence and breach of peace.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 1:54 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Mahabeer was operating under the influence of alcohol. Mahabeer was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 1:54 a.m. an officer responded to Cumberland Farms on North Main Street for a disturbance. Police reported Mahabeer engaged the employee in an argument and used profanities. Police reported Mahabeer refused to leave until the employee contacted the police. Mahabeer was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

KEITH BASTA, 33, of 120 Coram Road, Shelton, was charged Jan. 3 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 6:14 p.m. officers responded to 172 Margaret Circle for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Basta grabbed the victim and pushed her. Basta was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

GEORGE VASSALLO, 24, of 52 Walnut St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 3 with failure to respond to payable violation.

Police reported on Jan. 3 at approximately 8:01 p.m. Vassallo was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Vassallo was given a court date of Jan. 13 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $250. cash bond.

LEE SWANSON, 33, of 200 North Hoadley St., Naugatuck, was charged Jan. 4 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Police reported on Jan. 4 at approximately 1:48 a.m. officers responded to 200 North Hoadley St. for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Swanson grabbed at the victim causing a small cut on the victim’s nose. Swanson was given a court date of Jan. 4 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $500 surety bond.
