The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

ROBERT POGODZIENSKI, 51, of 142 Plainfield Drive, Oakville, was charged Dec. 7 with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Pogodzienski was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on Oct. 20, 2015. Police reported Pogodzienski entered the victim’s garage and stole two gas powered chain saws valued at over $300 each. Pogodzienski was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

WILLAIM CLARK, 54, of 164 Johnson St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 7 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 7:54 p.m. an officer responded to a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Clark struck a police vehicle that was working patrol. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Clark was operating under the influence of alcohol. Clark was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

NICOLE WILKINSON, 27, of 33 Hillside Ave., Torrington, was charged Dec. 7 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 9:09 p.m. an officer responded to 160 Church St., Joe’s Antiques, for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Wilkinson knocked over shelving causing merchandise to break. Wilkinson was given a court date of Dec. 8 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non- surety bond.

JAMES HEITZ II, 27, of 92 Highland Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 8 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 8 at approximately 5:09 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Aetna Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Heitz was operating under the influence of alcohol. Heitz was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

MARKUS MIRANDA, 19, of 137 Fairlawn Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 8 with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Dec. 8 at approximately 5:45 p.m. Miranda turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on Oct. 30, 2015. Police reported Miranda with two other male accomplices stole the wheel and rims from the victim’s vehicle. When the wheels were being removed, the vehicle sustained damage to the rotors and brake line, police reported. Miranda was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

MANTARIUS HALL, 27, of 241 Judith Lane, Waterbury, was charged Dec. 8 with disobeying officer signal motor vehicle and reckless driving.

Police reported on Dec. 8 at approximately 3:42 p.m. Hall was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a motor vehicle investigation on July 6, 2014. When the officer attempted to stop Hall, police reported, he continued to drive and refused to stop. Police reported Hall was later identified through the investigation as the driver of the vehicle, which refused to stop for the officer. Hall was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $100 cash bond.

BRIAN GIBRAN, 33, of 48 Elm View Circle, Waterbury, was charged Dec. 9 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 9 at approximately 8:38 a.m. officers responded to 9 Cotton Hollow Court for a domestic disturbance between mother and adult son. During an argument, police reported, Gibran exited the home and was yelling from the driveway. Police reported Gibran’s yelling was causing a disturbance to the neighborhood. Gibran was given a court date of Dec. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

HOLLY BEVAN, 40, of 167 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 10 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Dec. 10 at approximately 2:49 p.m. Bevan turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation on of a protective order reported on Dec. 2, 2015. Police reported Bevan arrived at the victim’s home to retrieve belongings, which was determined to be in violation of a protective order. Bevan was given a court date of Dec. 11 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

MARK PANDA, 34, of 42 Sharon Ave., 1F, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 12:30 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Spencer Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Panda was operating under the influence of alcohol. Panda was given a court date of Dec. 30 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

THOMAS MILLER, 38, of 48 Washington St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Miller was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported at Walmart on Sept. 5, 2015. Police reported Miller stole $50 worth of merchandise and left in a vehicle. Miller was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $50 cash bond.

MISTY CORDON, 34, of 66 Goodyear Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 11 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 11 at approximately 7:19 p.m. Cordon turned herself in on an active arrest warrant. Cordon was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $1,000 surety bond.

CARLOS VELASQUEZ, 20, of 158 Cliff St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 12 with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal mischief.

Police reported on Dec. 12 at approximately 5 p.m. Velasquez turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on Oct. 30, 2015. Police reported Velasquez with two other male accomplices stole the wheel and rims from the victim’s vehicle. Velasquez was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

ILORA JOHNSON, 26, of 16 Violet St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 12 with sixth-degree larceny and possession of controlled substance.

Police reported on Dec. 12 officers responded to Motor Lodge for a larceny complaint. Police reported Amanda Kenney was staying at the motor lodge with an acquaintance, Johnson. Johnson stole Kenney’s cell phone, police reported. During the investigation, police reported, Johnson was found to be in possession of 1 gram of heroin. Johnson was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

AMANDA KENNEY, 29, of 49 West Liberty St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 12 with interfering with an officer and use of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 12 officers responded to Motor Lodge for a larceny complaint. Police reported Kenney was staying at the motor lodge with an acquaintance, Ilora Johnson. Johnson stole Kenney’s cell phone, police reported. Police reported Kenney originally gave the officers a false name and was found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe. Kenney was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 non-surety bond.

MELODY MARIE UMBRO, 19, of 45 School St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 12 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 12 at approximately 7:41 p.m. officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Rubber Avenue. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Umbro was operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs. Umbro was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 surety bond.

MICHAEL MERITHEW, 33, of 189 Bluebird Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 12 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 12 at approximately 10:57 p.m. officers responded to Mobil South Main Street for a disturbance. Police reported Merithew was intoxicated and was arguing and yelling profanities at the clerk. Police reported Merithew was upset over losing lottery tickets. Merithew was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

CHELSEA WEIR, 20, of 3 Terre Haute Road, Danbury, was charged Dec. 13 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 13 at approximately 1:31 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Weir was operating under the influence of alcohol. Weir was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

RICHARD LYONS, 27, of 262 North Main St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 13 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 13 at approximately 2:48 a.m. officers responded to 262 North Main St. for a noise complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined there was a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument that disturbed other tenants in the building, police reported, Lyons threw items around the apartment. Lyons was given a court date of Dec. 23 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 surety bond.
