The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

RICHARD NORMAN, 43, of 554 Carrington Road, Bethany, was charged Nov. 30 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 30 at approximately 10:05 a.m. Norman turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Norman was given a court date of Dec. 10 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 cash bond.

ERIC WINCHESTER, 37, of 359 Sherman Ave., New Haven, was charged Dec. 2 with weapons in vehicles and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 2 at approximately 1:09 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Dunn Avenue. There were three occupants in the vehicle. The driver was identified as Eric Winchester and the two passengers were identified as Rebecca Wood and William Griffen. During the investigation, police reported, they were found to be in possession of syringes, and glass smoking pipes. A Black CO2 pellet pistol was located under the driver’s seat where Winchester was seated, police reported. Winchester was given a court date of Dec. 2 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

WILLIAM GRIFFEN, 44, of 359 Sherman Ave., New Haven, was charged Dec. 2 with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 2 at approximately 1:09 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Dunn Avenue. There were three occupants in the vehicle. REBECCA WOOD, 49, of 38 Waterville St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 2 with possession of drug paraphernalia.

STEVEN ROSA, 29, of 1375 Old Colony Road, Wallingford, was charged Dec. 2 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Dec. 2 Rosa turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a violation of a protective order. Police reported Rosa was found to be staying at the residence of the protected party, which was in violation of the protective order. Rosa was given a court date of Dec. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

ISA REDZEPI, 27, of 28 Stueben St., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 2 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 2 at approximately 2:49 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Redzepi stole magazines valued at $14.87. Redzepi was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

RANDY HARRIOTT, 23, of 502 Shelton Ave., Hamden, was charged Dec. 4 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 4 at approximately 10:58 a.m. Harriott turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. Harriott was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $5,000 surety bond.

TRISTAN GIBSON, 22, of 446 Norton Park Way, New Haven, was charged Dec. 4 with threatening and disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 4 Gibson was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a harassing phone call complaint reported on Sept. 21, 2015. Police reported Gibson sent text messages to the victim stating he was going to harm her. The victim and Gibson are in a dating relationship, police reported. Gibson was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,500 court-set surety bond.

DORMAN STONE, 58, of 284 Church St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 4 with evading responsibility motor vehicle.

Police reported on Dec. 4 at approximately 11:39 p.m. an officer responded to Church Street by Maple Street for an evading motor vehicle accident. Police reported Stone struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. Stone was identified by a witness, who was later located at his residence, police reported. Stone was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court.
RICHARD LONG, 62, of 359 New Ridge Ave., Waterbury, was charged Dec. 4 with breach of peace.

Police reported on Dec. 4 at approximately 1:06 p.m. officers responded to 350 High St. for a disturbance between neighbors. Both parties were arguing with each other but separated by a fence. During the argument, police reported, James Pannozza was holding a hatchet and Richard Long was holding a pry bar. The argument did not escalate any further and both parties were at their residences when the officers arrived. Long was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a promise to appear.

JAMES PANNOZZA, 57, of 208 Maple St., Naugatuck, was charged was charged Dec. 4 with breach of peace.

CHARLES B. VANNESS, 46, of 883 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 4 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Dec. 4 at approximately 6:32 p.m. officers responded to 883 Rubber Ave. Apt. 19 for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During an argument, police reported, Vanness threatened to harm the victim and the victim’s adult daughter. Vanness was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

TAYLER GRANT, 19, of 122 High St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 4 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Dec. 4 at approximately 9:48 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Grant stole tape, body spray, deodorant and toys valued at $30.95. Grant was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

JOHN OPPEDISANO, 23, of 236 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 5 with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy at sixth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy at second-degree criminal mischief

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 9:31 p.m. Oppedisano was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny complaint reported on Oct. 30, 2015. Police reported Oppedisano with two other male accomplices stole the wheel and rims from the victim’s vehicle. When the wheels were being removed, the vehicle sustained damage to the rotors and brake line, police reported. Oppedisano was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

SHANNON RILEY, 23, of 460 Wooster St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 5 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 12:52 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Riley was operating under the influence of alcohol. Riley was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

LYLE HILL, 27, of 48 Cedar Ave., Wolcott, was charged Dec. 5 with possession of controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 4:13 a.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hill was in possession of 0.48 grams of crack cocaine and a smoking pipe. Hill was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

RICARDO RIVERA, 48, of 41 Prospect St., Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 5 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Dec. 5 at approximately 5:51 p.m. Rivera was arrested on an active arrest warrant during a motor vehicle investigation. Rivera was given a court date of Dec. 16 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $495 cash bond.

TIMOTHY CRELAN, 51, of 165 Horton Hill Road, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 6 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Dec. 6 at approximately 1:14 p.m. officers responded to 1221 New Haven Road for a motor vehicle accident. Police reported Crelan drove off the roadway and struck a rock. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Crelan was operating under the influence of alcohol. Crelan was given a court date of Dec. 17 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500 non-surety bond.

SHANNON HENESSEY, 32, of 7 Seth Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Dec. 7 with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree reckless endangerment.

Police reported on Dec. 7 at approximately 4:53 a.m. officers responded to 11 Seth Drive for a domestic disturbance between former boyfriend and girlfriend. Police reported Henessey forced entry to the victim’s home and assaulted a female that was in the victim’s home. Police reported Henessey caused damage to front door and broke the female’s phone. During the incident, police reported, Henessey picked up darts and threw them in the direction of the victim. The victim was not hit with darts. Henessey was given a court date of Dec. 7 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.
