The Naugatuck Police Department reported the following arrests:

DAVID BARRACO, 28, of 69 Coen St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 2 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 9:09 p.m. Barraco turned himself in on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a larceny reported on Oct. 5, 2015. Police reported Barraco stole checks from the victim and cashed them for a total of $261.03. Barraco was given a court date of Nov. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $1,000 cash bond.

COLIN LECLERC, 18, of 403 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 2 with first-degree criminal trespass.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 4:53 p.m. LeClerc was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for a trespass complaint reported on Oct. 27, 2015. Police reported LeClerc was seen inside Naugatuck High School where he is no longer a student. When approached by staff, police reported, LeClerc ran from the building and was located near the athletic fields. LeClerc was given a court date of Nov. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and held on a court-set $1,000 surety bond.

MONICA FRANZESE, 33, of 30 Sweeney St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 2 with second-degree failure to appear.

Police reported on Nov. 2 at approximately 3:52 p.m. Franzese was arrested on an active arrest warrant. Franzese was given a court date of Nov. 3 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a court-set $500 surety bond.

MICHAEL HINTON-SEMEDO, 29, of 141 Benefit St., Waterbury, was charged Nov. 6 with possession of heroin and non-student in possession of drugs near a school, high school, or day care.

Police reported on Nov. 6 at approximately 11:08 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on South Main Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Hinton-Semedo was in possession of 1.4 grams of heroin. Hinton-Semedo was given a court date of Nov. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $7,500 surety bond.

KENNETH A. ADAMO, 27, of 33 Hillside Ave., Torrington, was charged Nov. 6 with sixth-degree larceny.

Police reported on Nov. 6 at approximately 9:09 p.m. an officer responded to Walmart for a larceny complaint. Police reported Adamo stole a staple gun valued at $31.78. Adamo was given a court date of Nov. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

SAMUEL DUKES, 49, of 74 Round Tree Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 6 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 6 at approximately 11:56 p.m. officers responded to 74-4 Round Tree Drive for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Dukes was involved in an argument with the victim. Police reported Dukes agreed to stay away from the victim for the remainder of the night. When the officers were leaving and were outside the home they could hear Dukes arguing and yelling at the victim, police reported. Dukes was then taken into custody, police reported. Dukes was given a court date of Nov. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $15,000 surety bond.

DWAYNE NELSON, 44, of 111 Birch Lane, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 7 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 7 at approximately 1:31 a.m. an officer responded to a motor vehicle accident on Rubber Avenue. Police reported Nelson backed his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle causing minor damage to both vehicles. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Nelson was operating under the influence of alcohol.

MARIO SANTOS, 39, of last known address 250 Central Ave., Wolcott, was charged Nov. 7 with second-degree failure to appear and violation of probation.

Police reported on Nov. 7 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Santos turned himself in on active arrest warrants. Santos was given a court date of Nov. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a surety bond.

MANDY CARTA, 47, of 616 North Church St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 7 with assault on a public safety/emergency personnel and breach of peace.

Police reported on Nov. 7 at approximately 8:03 p.m. officers conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Church Street near Carta’s home. During the investigation, police reported, Carta was uncooperative and yelled at the officers. Police reported Carta ran from the officers to her home where she was stopped outside her home. While the officers were speaking with Carta, police reported, she lunged at one of the officers grabbing onto the officer’s head. Carta was taken into custody and given a court date of Nov. 18 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.

EDGARDO ESTRADA, 35, of 356 Connecticut Ave., Bridgeport, was charged Nov. 7 with violation of protective order.

Police reported on Nov. 7 at approximately 9:47 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Cross Street. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined there is an active protective order between Estrada and his passenger. Estrada was given a court date of Nov. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

DACIEL DEMEDEIROS, 37, of 188 Franklin St. Ext., Danbury, was charged Nov. 8 with driving under the influence.

Police reported on Nov. 8 at approximately 2:01 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation on Route 8 North. During the investigation, police reported, it was determined Demedeiros was operating under the influence of alcohol. Demedeiros was given a court date of Nov. 19 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.

EDWARD DAJNEROWICZ, 66, of 29 Phyllis Drive, Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 8 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 8 at approximately 9:54 a.m. officers responded to 29 Phyllis Drive for a domestic disturbance between mother and son. During an argument, police reported, Dajnerowicz blocked the victim from walking outside. Dajnerowicz was given a court date of Nov. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.

MICHAEL DAY, 45, of 475 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 8 with disorderly conduct.

Police reported on Nov. 8 at approximately 7:31 p.m. officers responded to 485 Spring St. Apt. A3 for a domestic disturbance between uncle and nephew. During an argument, police reported, Benjamin Day spit on Michael Day. Michael Day then shoved Benjamin Day, police reported. Day was given a court date of Nov. 9 to appear at Waterbury Superior Court and released on a $500.00 non-surety bond.

BENJAMIN DAY, 18, of 509 Spring St., Naugatuck, was charged Nov. 8 with disorderly conduct.
