OXFORD — Thomas F. Cobb, 87, of Oxford, entered into peaceful rest on Nov. 20, 2022; he was the beloved husband of the late Carol (Romano) Cobb.
He served in the United States Navy. He was retired from Vitramon in Monroe as a research engineer. He was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Oxford; he grew up in Massachusetts.
Thomas leaves his loving family, including his daughter, Carol Fritz and her longtime companion Wayne B. Nelson, of Woodbridge; and his grandson, Lance Hallowell of Derby.
He was predeceased by a brother, John Cobb, and a sister, Phyllis Baldwin.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial, in celebration of Thomas and his late wife Carol’s lives, was to be at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford, on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 10:30 a.m.
Interment was to be at Southford Cemetery, with full military honors for Thomas.
The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St,. Seymour, is entrusted with the arrangements.
