PROSPECT — Robert A. Monroe, 63, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, at John Dempsey Memorial Hospital in Farmington.
Born in Waterbury on June 9, 1959, he was son of the late Jack A. and Grace D. (Hullstrunk) Monroe. Robert was a longtime resident of Prospect. He enjoyed karaoke, Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He took special care of his family and friends, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Robert leaves his daughters, Brittany Fanton and her husband Jason, of Naugatuck, and Carrie Monroe; his beloved grandchildren, Raymond and Riley; his sisters, June Rivera of Naugatuck, Holly Demers, and Pennie Monroe, both of Prospect; and several nieces and nephews.
