NAUGATUCK — Mr. Walter J. Kilfeather, age 74, died Monday, March 21 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. He was the husband of Sabine E. (Selg) Kilfeather.
Mr. Kilfeather was born in New Haven on March 10, 1937 a son of the late Edward and Rose (Flood) Kilfeather. He was retired from Sikorsky Aircraft where he worked as an Air Frame Mechanic for many years. He was an accomplished magician who performed as Walter the Wizard and was a member of the Magicians Association. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Besides his wife, Mr. Kilfeather is survived by a son Mark Kilfeather of Waterbury, two daughters Kristin Kilfeather Dowling and her husband Douglas of Naugatuck and Heidi Zorn and her husband Scott of Waterbury, a brother Peter Kilfeather and his wife Claire of Vermont, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, March 24 at 9:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck to Immanuel Lutheran Church 170 Coen St., Naugatuck for services at 10 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
