NAUGATUCK — Mr. Victor Peter Kloc, Sr., 77, of Naugatuck, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Kloc was born in Waterbury on Jan. 22, 1935 a son of the late Joseph and Eva (Warneska) Kloc. He was retired from the Uniroyal Inc. Chemical Division in Naugatuck, where he had worked for 35 years, and was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Naugatuck. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, and gardening and could many times be seen sitting under his apple tree. He was a member of the Naugatuck Polish Falcons Pool and Setback Leagues. His favorite hot spot was the Old Corner Cafe in Naugatuck and he was an avid UConn women’s basketball and Boston Red Sox fan. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his loving family and attending family functions and activities.

Mr. Kloc is survived by two sons, Victor Peter Kloc, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Prospect and Vincent Kloc of Naugatuck; five daughters, Holly Yenkelun of Naugatuck, Susan J,. Drown and her husband Roger of Naugatuck, Cindy Laudieri of Waterbury, Kathy Kloc of Waterbury and Krista Baptista and her husband Victor of Waterbury; four sisters, Mary Rimkus of Naugatuck, Phyllis Burns of Naugatuck, Cathy Cardinale of Florida and Helene Nalband of Wallingford; 13 grandchildren, R.J., Jessamie, Cortney, Jocelyn, Joshua, AAron, Chelsy, Dakota, Tyler, Madison, Jacob, Dylan and Lucas; three great grandchildren, Jaden, Sophia, and Jordyn; his former wife, Lillie Syble (Brown) Kloc – Jacobsen and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by 10 sisters and brothers, Walter, Stanley, Sabina, John, Mike, Joseph, Edward, Raymond, Jane and Lenora and a son in law, James Laudieri.

The funeral will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck for a mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
