Thomas Kennedy Noble
BOYNTON BEACH, Fla.–Thomas Kennedy Noble, 79, of Boynton Beach, Fla. went to be with the Lord on March 29 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born May 31, 1931 in Naugatuck, Conn. to Charles J. and Margaret Noble.

After serving his country in the U.S. Army, Thomas had worked in the Naugatuck school system for many years as the principal of Salem School in the early 1970’s and the director of educational grants from 1973 to 1987. He had been very active in his community and organized the Jobs For Connecticut Youth Program and was a member of the International Rotary Club, Watertown, Conn. Thomas had been the past president of the University of Bridgeport Phi Delta Kappa as well as the Area Coordinator for seven universities. He then went on to become a professor of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management at the University of New Haven and later, Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. Thomas was an avid traveler and enjoyed visiting countries all over the world.

He is survived by his loyal friend of many years, Anthony P. Della Ventura of Boynton Beach, Fla.; brother, Charles J. Noble Jr. and his wife Patricia of Chesire, Conn.; sister, Margaret “Sis” Gillette Gaucher of Melbourne, Fla.; niece, Louelin Noble Groth of Meridan, Conn.; nephew, Donald W. Gillette of Nashville, Tenn.; niece Judith Gillette Cawley of Worcester, Mass.; nephew, Charles J. Noble III of Hamden, Conn.; and nephew, Jeffrey Noble Gillette of Melbourne, Fla.

Thomas Kennedy Noble was laid to rest with military honors at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Fla.
