NAUGATUCK — Terrance Gene Noss, Sr., known to family and friends as “T-Noss,” “Big T,” “Pops,” “Daddio,” “Hun” and “Terryyy!” 56, of Naugatuck, passed away at his home on Monday, June 20. He was the husband of Brenda Lee (Burke) Noss.
Terry was born in Shickshinny, Pa. on July 8, 1954, a son of the late Russell Raymond Noss, Sr. and Clara (Fritz) Noss. He lived in Naugatuck since 1974 and worked for American Electro Products for the past 24 years. He enjoyed sports and was an umpire for ASA Softball Association in Naugatuck and Bethany. He also played softball for many years on teams in Waterbury and Naugatuck. Terry was a people person and a father figure to many. His loving, caring, and accepting nature shined through to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Besides his wife of 22 years, he leaves his sons, Terrance Gene Noss, Jr. and Maurice Parker both of Naugatuck; his daughters, LeeAnn Elizabeth Noss and Lauren Marie Noss both of Naugatuck; his brothers, Russell Noss, Jr., George, Donald, and Larry Noss; his sisters, Raenne Goss, Doris Hauze and Janet Vitkauskas; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Noss.
His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the time of the service. Burial will be at the family’s convenience.
