PROPSECT – Stephen J. Pinto, 54, of 111 Waterbury Road, Prospect, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Feb. 2, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Wendy (Wilson) Pinto.

Stephen was born on Feb. 29, 1956 in Waterbury a son of the late John and Germaine (Deschenes) Pinto. He was the previous owner and president of J & R Auto Supply of Prospect and recently was a manager for Car Quest. He was a graduate of Kaynor Tech High Scool in Waterbury, Class of 1975. He was an avid motorcycle rider and loved to travel to Florida and visit Disney World.

Besides his wife Wendy he is survived by his son, Bryan Pinto of Prospect, one brother Bruce Pinto of Thomaston, and three older brothers, two grandchildren, William Pinto of Naugatuck and Kylie Pinto of Prospect and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 6, at 3:00 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Rte. 69, Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
