NAUGATUCK — Stefania Kobuta, 92, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020, at VITAS at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mrs. Kobota was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Poland, the daughter of the late Marion and Ann Tysowski. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and was a communicant of St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ansonia.
Mrs. Kobota is survived by her son, James and his wife, April, of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Anne Neuman and Beth Roy; as well as her four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, John Tysowski.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020, with the funeral procession leaving the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St., at 10 a.m. and proceeding to St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia for a Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
