PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Stanley Jacoboski, 73, died June 25, 2013 at Treasure Coast Hospice.
He was born in Waterbury, the son of the late Gertrude and Stanley Jacoboski, Sr., growing up in the Union City area. He attended Naugatuck schools, graduating from Naugatuck High School, Class of 1958.
Stanley and his wife of 46 years, Janet (Romaine) Jacoboski moved to Port St. Lucie 23 years ago. He was employed as a toolmaker by the Timex Corp. He served in the Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. He was a member of the Polish Falcons and the Naugatuck Fish and Game Club. He was an avid golfer who played many years at Hop Brook Golf Course.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Janet of Port St. Lucie; a brother, Joseph Jacoboski of Madison, Wis.; a brother-in-law and nephews from Waterbury; a cousin, Ronald Jacoboski of Naugatuck. He was predeceased by a bother, Leonard.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, July 29 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where Stanley and Janet married 46 years ago. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
