NAUGATUCK — Sally Ann Illes, 62, passed away on Feb. 18, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1958, in Naugatuck. Sally Ann was the daughter of the late Sally (Thurston) Ciarlo.
She is survived by her father, Dan Ciarlo of Naugatuck; her sister and brother-in-law, Jayne (Thurston) and Justin Williams of Naugatuck; her nephew, Zachary Williams of Los Angeles, Calif.; her niece, Julia Williams of Naugatuck; and several cousins with whom she was very close.
Sally was also lovingly known as “Aunt Sal” to the friends of her niece and nephew. She was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and the University of Connecticut. She worked for many years as a project analyst for the Prudential Insurance Company until her retirement in 2017.
There will be no calling hours as per her request. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi of Assisi Church on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m. Everyone attending is required to wear a facial covering and to adhere to social distancing guidelines. A memorial service will follow at a date to be determined in the future.
