Mr. Polomski was born in Waterbury on April 3, 1948, a son of the late Ronald J. Polomski, Sr. and Catherine M. (Dunne) Polomski. He was a longtime Naugatuck resident before living in Torrington for the past 26 years. He worked for many years at Hitchcock Chair Company, Paul Herbert Woodworking, and most recently Farmington Displays Inc. He enjoyed cooking and was an avid sports fan, especially the Yankees.
Besides his wife of 25 years, he leaves his son, Domenic Maritano and his wife Tina of Torrington; his brother, David Polomski and his wife Mary of Bloomsbury, N.J.; his two nieces, Catherine Polomski of Germany and Adellyn Polomski of New York, N.Y.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22 at noon at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
