GOLDEN VALLEY, Ariz. — Roberta “Cookie” Krinick, 66, of Golden Valley, Ariz., left us to be with her parents on Saturday, Oct. 29.

Cookie was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to David and Bertha Lerner on July 4, 1945. She married her best friend and soul mate, Stewart Krinick on March 21, 1964. Shortly after, they moved to Connecticut where they raised their family. In 1989 they relocated to Hendersen, Nev. and then Golden Valley, Ariz. in 2007. Cookie dedicated her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was involved with the Naugatuck Republican Town Committee, PTA, Union City Little League and Lady of the Knights

Cookie is survived by her husband, Stewart; daughters, Patti Krinick of Kingman, Ariz., Dawn Walsh (Scott) of Naugatuck, and Amy Tucker (Terrance) of Derby, Kan.; grandchildren, Anthony Tucker and Amber Krinick; brother, Gerard Lerner of Whitestone, N.Y.; sisters, Sharon Robbins of Jamaica, N.Y. and Andrea Pollack of Bayside, N.Y.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Nov. 3 at the Winfield Veterans Cemetery in Kansas. Downing & Lahey Mortuary East of Kansas is in charge of the arrangements.
