NAUGATUCK — Robert L. “Bobby” Potter, 60, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Hartford Hospital after an extended illness.

Born in Waterbury on March 3, 1961, he was the son of the late Milton and Ruth (Bird) Potter. He was a longtime Naugatuck resident and retired from Ace Beauty Supply. Bob was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. He was passionate about all sports and was an avid Yankee fan.

Bob is survived by his siblings, John Potter and his wife, Cindy, Frank Potter and his wife, Tara, Joseph Potter, Elaine Potter Hanscom and William Potter and his wife, Kim; his former wife, Amy Botillo, whom he always remained close with; his two uncles, Joseph and William Bird; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas and Timothy Potter; and his sister, Tracie Potter.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Grove Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
