Obituary: Pauline M. (Federonis) Morrissey

NAUGATUCK — Pauline M. (Federonis) Morrissey, 89, of Naugatuck passed away on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the widow of the late Richard H. Morrissey.

Mrs. Morrissey was born on Sept. 4, 1923 in Naugatuck a daughter of the late John and Anna (Kopchn) Federonis. She was retired from Peter Paul Cadbury where she worked for many years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.

She is survived by a son, Richard F Morrissey and his wife Caroline of Naugatuck; her sister, Malvina Cronen of Cape Cod, Mass.; her two grandsons, Ryan and Kevin Morrissey of Florida and three step-granddaughters, Shannon, Danielle and Dayna. She is also survived by one great-grandson, Aiden Morrissey and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her four brothers, Andrew, George and Charles and Michael Federonis and one sister, Rose Hanley.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St, Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
