ANSONIA — Paul William Mulligan, 54, of Ansonia formerly of Seymour, beloved son of the late Charles Patrick and Catherine Millea Mulligan, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 at The Arden House of Hamden.

Paul was born in Derby on Oct. 7, 1958. Paul was a communicant of St. Augustine Church of Seymour. He was employed by BJ’s Wholesale Club of Derby. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid walker. He will be sadly missed by all and will be forever in our hearts.

His loving family includes a caring brother John Mulligan of Guilford, four loving sisters Kathleen Upson (Peter) of Brentwood, N.H., Margaret Turner of Carrollton, Texas, Ann Rousseau (Roger) of Burlington and Elizabeth Conrad (David) of Naugatuck; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, George Mulligan

A funeral service in celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St., Route 67 across from Klarides Village, Seymour, with a memorial mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave., Seymour. Interment in the family plot will follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, Derby. Friends and relatives may call the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
