NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Olga (Grossman) Grant, 94, formerly of High Street, died Saturday, April 30, at the Middlebury Convalescent Home. She was the widow of F. William “Bill” Grant.
Mrs. Grant was born in Naugatuck on Jan. 29, 1917 daughter of the late Fred and Caroline (Muranke) Grossman. She was retired from Risdon Manufacturing in Naugatuck where she had worked in the payroll department for many years and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Naugatuck, the Lutheran Church Women and the Naugatuck Women’s Club.
Mrs. Grant is survived by a daughter: Marilyn Schiaroli and her husband Richard of Naugatuck, a brother: Herman Treichel of Newington and a granddaughter: Adrienne Schiaroli.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, at 10 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church 170 Coen St., Naugatuck. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
