BETHANY — Michelina “Mickey” Manciero, 89, widow of Anthony F. Manciero Sr., died peacefully on June 19, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Mickey was born on May 8, 1932, in New Haven, a daughter of the late Livino and Catherine (Trinca) Pettorini. Mickey was formerly of Bethany, where she lived for most of her life. She retired after working many years as a loan officer in the banking and finance industry. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who loved spending time with her family.

Mickey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony F. Manciero Jr. and Patty Manciero; her grandchildren, Michael Manciero, Nicholas Manciero, Anthony P. Manciero and his wife, Corynn; her great-granddaughter, Kaelyn Manciero; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and her parents, Mickey was predeceased by her five brothers and four sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. Everyone attending is asked to please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours, and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.
