NAUGATUCK — Melody (Cennamo) Carafiello, 63, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at her home. She was the wife of Paul Carafiello.
Melody was born June 10, 1957, in Miami, Fla., the daughter of Albert Cennamo and the late Dorothy (Mason) Cennamo. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident, having previously resided in Bridgeport.
Melody was a homemaker in the old style of the word. She loved cooking for her entire family; the more the merrier. She would constantly complain but, God forbid, she would not let anyone help her. She took great joy watching Aiden become a little man. She will be missed by many but never forgotten.
Besides her husband, Paul, and her father, Melody is survived by her daughters, Tracy Howe, Jennifer Bowen (Tracy), and April Broadhurst; her brother, Alan Cennamo (Michelle); her sisters, Columbia Lumis (Robin Armstrong) and MaryAnn Hajducky (Kevin); her nephew, Aiden Soto; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 11:45 a.m. at Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. James Cemetery.
