NAUGATUCK — Mrs. Mary L. “Lorraine” (Reilly) Famiglietti, 88, of Gorman Street, died May 26, in Waukesha, Wis. after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Rocco P. Famiglietti, originally from Waterbury who died in 1986.
Lorraine was born in Naugatuck on March 23, 1923 a daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (Harvey) Reilly. She was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck, a graduate of St. Francis School and Naugatuck High School and was an active communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck. She retired from Uniroyal Inc. where she worked in the office for both the footwear and chemical divisions. Lorraine loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed knitting and watching various soap operas.
Lorraine is survived by her sons, Edward M. Famiglietti of Naugatuck and William D. Famiglietti of Muskego, Wis. She also leaves her daughter-in-law Patricia and grandchildren Michael and Kimberly Famiglietti of Muskego, Wis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3, at 7 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. She will be buried with a private committal service at St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 3, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
