PROSPECT — Mrs. Mary G. (Grabowski) McCasland, 75, of Prospect, died Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of William F. McCasland, Jr.
Mrs. McCasland was born in Waterbury on Sept. 1, 1936 a daughter of the late Francis and Edith (Rindfleisch) Grabowski. She was retired after working as a bookkeeper for many years and was a member of the Prospect Congregational Church.
Besides her husband, Mrs. McCasland is survived by a daughter, Kimberley Perreault and her husband Tom of Southington; two sons, Howard R. Fowler, Jr. and his wife Krista of Prospect and Scott Fowler and his wife Gina of Prospect; three step-sons, William McCasland and his wife Karen of Beacon Falls, Paul McCasland of Naugatuck and Gary McCasland and his wife Regina of Illinois; a sister, Lois Wooster of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Francis Grabowski, Jr. of Wolcott and Eugene Grabowski of Oakville, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Bruce Edward Fowler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, Dec.10 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
