NAUGATUCK — Mary (Bohdan) Staskiewicz, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital. She was widow of Charles L. Staskiewicz.

She was born in Derby on March 22, 1918, daughter of the late Adam and Pauline (Duda) Bohdan. Mrs. Staskiewicz and her husband were married in 1941 at St. Joseph Church in Ansonia and then moved to Union City where she resided until her passing. She retired from Peter Paul Company in 1979 after 44 years of service. Mary loved to travel and spend her summers vacationing in Europe and the United States. She was a communicant of St. Hedwig Church.

She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Jean Bohdan and
Rita Talarico; and her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews and family.

Mary was predeceased by her three brothers, Al, John and Benny.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. from the Naugatuck
Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to St. Hedwig Church, 32 Golden Hill Street, for a mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.
