NAUGATUCK — Mary Bird, 82, passed away on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Waterbury Hospital.
She was born in Waterbury on Aug. 13, 1938, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Olsen) Bird. She enjoyed shopping, casino trips, and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her brothers, Joseph Bird of Naugatuck and William Bird of Unity, Maine; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings.
A graveside service will be held at Grove Cemetery in the spring. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
