NAUGATUCK — Marie (Leary) Joy, 101, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at Beacon Brook Healthcare Center. She was the widow of Robert F. Joy .
Marie was born on Jan. 13, 1911 in Naugatuck a daughter of the late Daniel F. Leary and Bridget (Dalton) Leary. She was a retired banker and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Carole Dominach of N.J.; two grandsons, Frank Dominach and Terence Dominach. She also leaves two great-granddaughters, Nicole and Natalie Dominach.
Marie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Beacon Brook for the wonderful care that they provided.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. There are no calling hours.
