Margaurite “Peggy” Pollifrone
NAUGATUCK-Margaurite “Peggy” Pollifrone, 56 of Naugatuck, passed away on Feb. 2, at CT Hospice in Branford. Born on August 10, 1954 in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Alice Parrott Hennessey. She was the wife of Frank A. Pollifrone, Sr.

After graduating from Jonathan Law High School, Peggy worked at Frank’s Roman Castle/Page II Restaurant in Milford and went on to become an administrative assistant for Yale University in the Pediatric Surgery Department. Margaurite loved to travel, especially during her three trips to Italy, and she greatly enjoyed cooking and enjoying meals with her family.

In addition to her husband Frank of 30 years, she is survived by their children, Christopher J. Burnham, Sr. and his wife Tiffany, Jaimelyn Burnham Gorman and her husband Phillip, Frank A. Pollifrone, Jr., and Nicholas S. Pollifrone; three grandchildren, Christopher J. Burnham, Jr., Shelby Burnham and Brett Burnham; her sister Sue Anne Pettis; seven nieces and nephews, Joseph S. Pettis, Allen Pettis, Stacey Pettis Brooks and her husband Edward Brooks, Jr., Michael Jennings, Antoinette Pettis, Edward Brooks, III and Alexis Brooks.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Feb. 7, at 11:00 a.m.meeting directly at St. Francis of Assisi, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven. Friends and family may call on Sunday, Feb. 6, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St, Milford.
