NAUGATUCK — Lois (Everett) Pompano, widow of Anthony (Jim) Pompano, passed away on Dec. 22, 2020. Lois was born on April 30, 1931, in Lawrence, Mass.

Lois is survived by her son, Mark J. Pompano and wife, Mary Katherine, of Southington, and son, James S. Pompano of Plainsboro, N.J.; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Haley Pompano; three step-grandchildren, Emily, Robert and Sarah Nadile; and several nieces and nephews.

Her love of music was second only to her love of family. During Lois’s life she worked for the United States Navy, the Equitable Life Insurance Company, and for Naugatuck Public Schools in the cafeteria and as the school lunch director.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck. There are no calling hours, and arrangements have been entrusted to Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.

To honor Lois’s memory, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. Labre Indian School.
