NAUGATUCK — Mr. Leonard A. “Lenny” Santos, 44, of Naugatuck, passed away Monday afternoon Nov. 25, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Barbara (Brodeur) Santos.

Lenny was born in Waterbury, March 3, 1969, a son of Thomas B. Santos and Patricia (Chandler) (Santos) Eckel and was educated in the local school system. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, Class of 1987 and the Connecticut State Apprenticeship program and was certified as an eyelet toolmaker in 1990. He was formerly employed as a toolmaker at Fabricated Metal Products of Naugatuck and from 1997 to the present was employed by Eyelet Designs, Inc. of Waterbury. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church of Naugatuck, and a former member of the Naugatuck Eagles, Arie # 640. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Besides his wife of 18 years, and his father of Naugatuck and his mother of Fairhaven, Vt., he leaves his daughters, Lisa Marie Santos and Alexandra Renee Santos both of Naugatuck; one brother, Jody Santos of Fairhaven, Vt.; three sisters, Denise Ballard of Putney, Vt., Danielle Santos of Waterbury and Nicole Santos of Danbury; one stepsister, Danielle Gadue of Waterbury; his stepfather, Joseph Eckel of Fairhaven, Vt., and his stepmother, Sandra (Cameron) Santos of Naugatuck; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Armand and Barbara (Fisherman) Brodeur of Naugatuck; his sister-in-law and her husband, Lisa and Josh Silverglade of Skillman, N.J. and his brother-in-law and his wife, Jeff Farren and his wife, Kerry of Kittery, Maine, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at 12:15 p.m. from the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St., and proceed to St. Francis of Assist Church, 318 Church St., Naugatuck for a mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m.
