NAUGATUCK — Kenneth W. Secula, 60, beloved husband of Kim (Krantz) Secula, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at the VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was born in Waterbury on June 19, 1959, son of Mary (Manthey) Secula of Wolcott and the late Thomas Secula. A longtime resident of Naugatuck, Ken had worked at Model Garage in Waterbury as an auto mechanic for 28 years. He was an active member of the community who enjoyed helping others. He was an avid collector of music and movies, as well as an avid bowler and New York Giants fan.

Besides his loving mother and wife, Kim, Ken leaves his daughter, Autumn (Fortier) Burke and her husband, David, of Prospect; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Krystal and David; his brother, Thomas Secula and his wife, Sonia, of Greenwich, N.J.; his nieces and nephews, Emily Secula, Patrick Secula and his wife, Danielle, Steven Secula and his wife, Jamie, and Jon and Lindsey Secula, and Kevin and Kyle Krantz; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Thomas, Connor and Julia; his brother- and sister-in-law, Kert and Heidi Krantz of Bethlehem; his beloved shelties, Jonas and Judzea, and his cats, Fawn and Teddy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery.
