BEACON FALLS — Kathleen “Casey” A. Scianna Crowley, 60, of Beacon Falls, entered a peaceful rest Feb. 2, 2012.
Born in Bridgeport on Feb. 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Louis Scianna and Margaret Zullo. Casey was an advocate for the disabled until her illness. She will be remembered for her love of her grandchildren.
Ms. Crowley is survived by three children, Tracy Crowley of Florida, Kathleen Crowley of West Haven and Daniel (Heidi) Crowley of Beacon Falls; a sister, Judith (John) Sharpe of Milford; a brother, Louis (Barbara) Scianna of Orange; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m.
