NAUGATUCK — John F. Tamburri, 75, beloved husband of Paula (D’Alesio) Tamburri, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., on July 23, 1945, son of the late Emile and Antonette (Marano) Tamburri. John graduated from Salesian High School in New Rochelle and Manhattan College. He lived in Naugatuck for the past five years and was a parishioner of St. Vincent Ferrer Church. He was an avid automobile enthusiast.
Besides his wife, Paula, of 50 years, he is survived by his daughter, Andrea Tamburri of Long Island, N.Y.; his son, John F. Tamburri Jr. of Mesa, Ariz.; his sister, Roseanne Guild of West Haven; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a date to be announced at St. Vincent Ferrer Church. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, is in care of his arrangements.
