John A. (Miller) Andrzywski

NAUGATUCK — Mr. John A. (Miller) Andrzywski, 72, of 47 Sunset Drive, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was husband to Elaine A. (Levandoski) Andrzywski.

He was born in Waterbury, on April 3, 1940, son of the late Walter and Josephine (Maringola) Miller. He had lived most of his life in Naugatuck and worked at Sandvik Wire Co. in Bethel for nine years. He enjoyed riding and fixing Harley Davidson motorcycles. John was a member of the Moose Club in Wolcott. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, and frequent trips to the beach. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

Besides his wife of 50 years, he leaves a son, Michael J. Andrzywski of Naugatuck; a daughter, Pamela Perugini and her husband Michael of Wolcott; a brother, Anthony Andrzejewski and his wife Mary Ellen of Waterbury; a sister, Catherine Carabello Hunter and her husband Lloyd of Waterbury; his granddaughter Elana Perugini; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 9 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 South Main St., Waterbury for a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
