PROSPECT — Joan (Olcott) Labutis, 88, of Prospect passed away on Tuesday, May 28 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the loving wife of Joseph M. Labutis for 64 Years.
Joan was born on July 31, 1930 in Waterbury to Everett and Catherine (Cusack) Olcott. She attended Crosby High School, Post Junior College and Quinnipiac College. She retired from W. F. Kaynor in 1992 as a business services assistant.
Joan enjoyed golf, hiking and ballroom dancing and was a long-time member of the Cha-Rum-Bo dance club.
Joan was predeceased by her husband, Joseph. She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Jacobs and her husband, Michael, of Prospect and Diane Lopez and her husband, John, of Orlando, Fla. She is also survived by her grandson, Keith Grabowski of Prospect.
A memorial service and internment will be held at the discretion of the family. Prospect Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
