Jackie Thomas Eazarsky
Jackie Thomas Eazarsky passed away peacefully Friday Feb. 4, surrounded by family at Waterbury Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Thank you Spirit for wrapping him in love. For guiding him. For comforting him. For bringing him through to peace and freedom. For standing with him. For letting him see home. For giving us moments and space that redefined everything. For cradling him in eternal spring. I love you too.

Jack was born on Sept. 8, 1942 in Waterbury son of Carl and Ardel (Podgurski) Eazarsky. He entered the Army in May 1965 received basic training at Fort Dix N.J. assigned to the 24th Infantry Division in Germany. He attended Croft High School. Jack enjoyed fishing and spent much of his time attending to the family farm. Jack was looking forward to the arrival of spring and spending that time with his children.

Jack is survived by his two children Steven Eazarsky of Watertown and Jennifer Eazarsky of Stamford, his brother Robert C. Eazarsky of Waterbury, along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be a small service Friday Feb. 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. A private burial will be planned by the family at a later time. There are no calling hours.
